Yup,  courses here closed this week as well. Practice areas included.  

Overnights in the 20⁰ range for the next 5 days or so. Highs in the 40s with cold winds. Which reminds me...

It's around 17 degrees here however with the wind whipping it's tough.  Stay safe buddy and one of these days the ground will thaw out and we'll be whacking that ball again!

This isn't the best news I would have hoped to post, but knowing him and some of his employees, both current and now retired, this family took a small "Mom & Pop" driving range and made it into a golfer's paradise.

Both Carl and his staff always made certain that people are people and are important in all aspects of life.

Well, I'm going to be getting dirty looks for the next 2 hours. Apparently I'm that guy that actually wants to sit in the seat I selected on the plane. It's 6am, I'm on 3 hours of sleep, I want the window seat to sleep. Move out of my seat ma'am.

I've been watching his videos for the longest time and I was finishing up his video from this morning and it dawned on me that we have some Cheeseheads in here so I was curious if anyone has ever come across him or had any work done by him... or if anyone even knows who I'm talking about

Plenty of posts by yours truly on The Good Morning Thread this past week from Lake Effect winter snowstorms off Lake Erie.  The NWS in Buffalo came up with this and all the places mentioned are within a few miles east and south of the City of Buffalo that had significant snowfall for the city in it's southern half.

It's been fun here in West Seneca and I don't question that Snowfall Total number at all.

And this was during the second Lake Effect storm on taken on Wednesday Jan 17.  A before the storm comparison on Saturday Jan 13.

I was at work yesterday thinking about the new TaylorMade QI-10 driver and thought "isn't quite a word?". I looked it up and there it was, the pronunciation was chi. Does this mean the driver is chi ten?

That's my bad pun for the day.

Okay I am having a bit of a slow day on the forum so time to get some catch up posts! Just finished watching one of my best friends back in Canada win her provincial championship for the first time and now she is off to nationals! Super stoked for her as the team played well and they just performed really well. 

Ivan is doing better sleeping in his own bed so that is a win and well its getting late so will be calling it pretty soon here. Good weekend overall and looking forward to a fantastic week next week!

Nope , NB. 

Sherry is fantastic and usually does quite well in seniors as I've done the ice for her at worlds before.

The perfect thread, I will only post one pic as I am not sure how the resizing is on desktop/tablet. But I visited Heartwell GC in Long Beach today and this happened last night... It happened over many of the greens and near the ponds as well. Sad day HW.

Isn't she nice, I met her and Colin Coben at the nationals in Red Deer, they are both such nice people... I will tell her we have connected on MSG...

Yeah I get ads on the bottom of my screen and in between forum comments. But it is ad revenue I believe for MGS and most sites have targeted advertising anyways, maybe better placed. So it does not bother me too much.

Separately, re: ads - yes there are a lot on any and every platform; yes it's revenue to MGS. However there was a series of ads on here for a while that were a layer on -top- of everything else and covered over the forum page...

I had enough and switched to the Vivaldi browser .. which is based on Chromium (ie. Chrome) .. on my mobile and desktop and it works great! As for MGS revenue, I make an annual donation.

I'll take Dunlap's as they'll be talking about him until the next time an amateur wins a Tour event. Also I felt bad for Burns on 17 - left it wide open for Dunlap to beat him. 

 

Oh and as to Rory's, I'd build an extra room in my house if I won one or more of those.

I use 2 extensions with Chrome and they remove all ads. (these come highly recommended)
