Newest club is an Evnroll ER5.  Since it's winter all I can say is that's so far it's great at carpet putting and on the birdieball green.

I have a love hate relationship with my clubs. I love them one day and hate them the next. Overall I like the clubs in my bag but love implies too much commitment

Don't have any "newest" clubs in my bag.  My Bridgestone JGR driver was new last spring, but I consider it old now.  I like it a lot... like cnosil I can't say that I love it.

 

This might be a year to change some things.

Brought the big Bertha alpha 815 the other day and can honestly say I love it, find it soooo forgiving. Tried the xr 15 & xr 16 but didn't like the look of them at address. Also got the 816 16* on its way in the post, can't wait to give that a crack!

I played the 816 (14°) for the first time this last week and I was thrilled, to say the least. I used it from the tee numerous times, just so I could hit it. Numerous hits from 235-250.

Then I switched it to 16° with a "draw" bias on the last hole (par 5) so I could hit it twice. Which I did. It's very easy to hit.

 

I just got my 815 Alpha hybrid, which I got from the certified callaway store on eBay for $74!!

Supposed to be used, but I honestly don't think it's ever been hit.

 

Dying to go hit it, but I seem to have caught a nasty cold, and, it's raining like crazy here in SoCal, oddly enough...

My newest clubs are the SLDR hybrids, 65 with new grips from 2nd swing golf and the EVNroll E5 putter that I'm testing.

 

All 3 are doing well, so well that I'm on the lookout for a 28 degree SLDR S.

I like my wedges for sure. Everything else I'm good with too, but I've never really had clubs I "loved"... The closest we're probably the Ping Zing 2 irons I had years ago.

It's funny cuz I really "liked" my old Jetspeed, but after a few hours on the range getting the 816 DBD dialed in, I was beginning to lose interest in the old TM. And I tried for 3 years to find something better, but couldn't.

Then after a few rounds with the 816, it was official. For my swing, the club truly was "all that".

Delighted was hardly a good enough description about how I liked that club.

 

Then the 816 14° 3-wood. Gad zooks what a joy to hit..

 

Now waiting for this storm to blow over so I can hit the 815 hybrid...

 

I love these clubs haha!!

Picked up the demo sale 816 DBD and I am hitting it almost as far as I was hitting my previous driver right now, and it's winter time. So I think I will get a few extra yemards when the ball starts to fly again.

With the epic line coming out the DBD should be dropping in price. Your post is making me think about investigating the club to see if it can find a spot in my bag

It's a pretty solid club, I really like it. The other driver I have is the X2hot, which is also a very good one. I feel like I am hitting this one much farther. I just have the white and gray rogue shaft my hat it came with.

Hit the 20° hybrid yesterday. I wasn't playing well and clanked the first couple swings, but on #17, I had 185 to a real short pin with a long green.

So I just lined up square and let er fly. Crack! Well , thunk! I guess is closer to how they sound, but the ball just flew! Hit the green dead center, so it flew about 195, straight as an arrow.

The feel at contact was superb.

I think I'm diggin it too...
