I must admit, this makes me a little more happy than it probably should... I decided to put my old GPS unit back into play and was updating the unit last night when I discovered that I could upload a logo to the unit and have it displayed on power up...attachicon.gif20180220_215458.jpg

Look on like the 36th page or so... I was about a half hour shy of auto qualifying with Half marathon time

Sounds like you got a keeper there! I also never thought the color screen was worth it on the Tour model (which is why I have the Pro), until I discovered adding an image! Now I'm wishing I had a color screen....

My wife has been playing golf since 1963; I started in 1992.  All of our vacations are to play golf somewhere.  

 

I bought the GB Tour because many courses on our travels didn't have GPS carts, and finding yardages was difficult and time consuming.  I use my GB about 4 times a week and it has worked flawlessly.  Even the battery lasts after all these years; I'm impressed.  My wife got me a Bushnell Tour V3 laser a few years ago for Christmas, and we use both when we play together.  Knowing exact distance is nice, but I also like to know the front and back yardages. When I play alone or with the guys at the club, I only use the GB; it's good enough for my game.

After playing several courses I can book more rounds when I know which ones I want to play again. We had a treat at work today, we have been working very hard to help Tesla out, we have been building and shipping products for them like crazy Over the last 3 weeks, and to thank is for our efforts, they showed up today with 3 cars for us to test drive. I jumped straight into the 750h Model S, their fastest model, 0-60 in a blink of an eye. No noise, no shifting gears, just straight up forward power, it was unbelievable. It was a good day, then I got home and my new iron heads were there, it just got better. I am song my phone, I will get some photos of both here later
