I played The Quarry MANY years ago.  From what I remember it was a good course.

I've only ever played at the Palmer Course at LaCantera and the Hill Country Course at the Hyatt Resort.  Have heard The Quarry is phenomenal.  I can vouch that LaCantera is also SUPER cool!  Love me some San Antonio!

Quarry is awesome, Old Brack or Brackenridge Park is great with lots of history.

One of the guys at Edel recommended Canyon Springs, so I'm going to play there Sunday at 11am.

I played Canyon Spring many years ago. I'm sorry to say but I don't have a vivid recollection of the course. Honestly, my only remembrance was that we played too far back... probably the tips and it was a whipping. I'm sure it was pretty nice. Something about a waterfall behind a green? Probably their signature hole.

Sorry I couldn't really be of any real help.

I played Canyon Springs once a few years after they opened but honestly can't remember a thing about it either. It was probably 15 years ago but it's odd the course didn't leave some sort of impression.

Had a good time with three guys that are members. They invited me to have a couple beers with them after the round, and even asked me to give them a call when I'm here again so we could play another round. Very cool.

Looks like a fun course. How'd you play?

Better than my score... 89. 38 putts. My irons were great, my driver “yanks” hurt me on 3 holes by losing three balls. It was fun.
