Not so much a post milestone, but one I have all of you as membership to thank for. I have crossed the 10k reactions barrier. 

So a big thank you to everyone in the MGS Forum. I feel quite privileged to be a mod for all of you and help direct the forum with the current group. It has been around 6.5 years since I joined and have seen a lot of members come and go and read so much content I can't begin to imagine. I really hope to continue bringing cool fresh content and discussions for all to read and in likeness of many others follow me threads I am going to do one of my own as I strive to get back to single digits and work hard to improve my game. As soon as I have my goals set and a few other things I'll post it. 

Anyway thank you all for putting up with my long winded posts, various dog and family photos and several other posts that seem to go on and on. I love being able to write for everyone here and truly appreciate everyone in this community as it really is my online home.

This next summer will be my 10th anniversary on the forum.  I'm hoping to make 20K posts before the date.  As the date get closer and if I have a lot of posts to go, I might have to invoke the @Shankster method.

Well dang. Just realized this post makes 6001 for me....Hell of a lot of content. Some golf, a lot not. I love coming here which I always express and it has literally taken place of all my social media accounts. I use Instagram to post reviews and link them back to here so its all encompassing MGS. 

Appreciate so many folks on here. Some real genuine folks on here and was really hoping to meet several folks down in NC for the trip but alas was not meant to be. @Getoffmylawn @sirchunksalot @EasyPutter @Shankster @cnosil @tommc23@bens197 @Swood1994 @PMookie@Rickp and so many others nothing against ya if I missed some names!

The site has pushed me way deeper into my golf game which is such a big part of my life, it is my stress reliever and am so much happier when I play well lol.

Cheers to all those out there on the site new or old, if you are newer and contemplating being active and read this, there is so much more here than golf. This year has been amazing as we all know test wise but there is so much in the off season as well.

Congrats on the awesome milestone, Mark! I just hit 1000 posts on my good morning thread comment this morning, so I've got a long ways to catch up! But I can echo everything you said. This forum has turned into a lot more for me than just a place to dive deeper into my golf game. So glad I made the decision to post a question about club selection last year and decided to keep posting and get more involved.

Congrats - that's quite an achievement in a short period of time. I'm looking forward to reading many more of your posts.

Is there a reward out for ya crossing the border? We can split it if ya let me know when youre going back....couple days in the slammer for some golf equipment sounds like a good trade off

An old Sub vet who spent some time in NE in the 80's and 90's including CT,ME,NH . just ask some older bouncers with a limp, they will vouch for me.

Yes until we went to the shipyard in Kittery Maine ironically named Portsmouth Naval Shipyard because its a Island in the river between ME and NH. Quite a change from rural Alabama.

Ahh so I didn’t miss it. I did get an auto congratulations message when my rank went to 3000. I don’t know how all that works but I guess I confused it with the number of posts.
