It may be because the Post Counter does not take any posts in the testers wanted or old testing area where signups are. 

The post count only counts for the forum itself.

Didn’t see this coming but was checking/searching threads today since it’s too hot to do anything but I passed the 15,000 posts a while ago.

It is.  It wasn't that long ago that @Shankster and I passed 15K and today I passed 20K.  We had to ask the Mods for the 15K rating because they didn't have anything past 10K.  I thought I would have to ask again when I reach 20K, but they were on top of it and already had it on my posts before I got there.  Thanks guys!!
