Public Service Announcement - Budget Rangefinder

Did some research as I was needing a new laser rangefinder as my 8yr old Bushnell unit eyepiece lost it's ability to focus a couple seasons ago.  It was an amazing device - hunting centric but with the right modes to lock on a flagstick with no problem.  After reviewing all golf centric rangefinders (and finding myself a little uncomfortable with the pricing I was seeing) I decided to look into the hunting version of the Bushnell rangefinder.   I found the Bushnell Prime 1300.  This thing as the exact same features as most golf centric units (including Ange Range Compensation) and the known Bushnell quality.  Bought it for $170.  Took it to the course and had zero issues.  Easily locked up pins and was pleased with the options in the software .  I can even use it to hunt :-).   Don't feel like you need to pay $300+ for a name brand rangefinder.  This unit works great!
