Popular Post Dead Solid Bogey
Hey y’all; according to the e-mail yesterday afternoon from corporate/HR it is very cold in the USA and even in my region. “ Those People “ will be two to three days late getting information out that the world has ended…. Quick zoom call this morning ( that did cost them a day on my contract ) about security on locations. Seems that another outfit even closer to the border than my current one got hit. They were shut down because it got below 32°. …Seems they are now missing two heavy pieces of equipment. My only input to the call was to state that the equipment might have gone to Mexico on vacation. Failing that, there was a strong possibility that the Cartel now had a couple of pieces of equipment for sell… I don’t think I will be included in many if anymore Zoom calls. This is suppose to be the last day of the northern contagion. Tee time tomorrow is calling for 60° with a high in the low 70’s. May you all stay warm and safe out there. A frosty 26 here on the North Carolina coast this morning; temperatures plummeted after an afternoon rain. I think there was enough time between the two so that there's no ice on the roads. Regardless, it's a work at home day for me. It's sunny and will get up to 42 this afternoon per NWS, but probably no chance to hit balls. Two golf-related items of note: The girlfriend offered to buy my home simulator setup after she learned she was receiving a settlement check from her dad's estate, 8+ years after his death (I know why it took so long, but it's a complicated story). She received that check Saturday and deposited it yesterday. It will take up to two weeks for the check to clear, but after that... let's just say it's time to start cleaning out the garage. And I awoke this morning to an email from the club secretary at Fortrose in Scotland, with the information for paying my club fees. Once they're paid (probably Friday), I will be an official member of Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club! Can't afford to join a club here, but I can in Scotland. Go figure. I am just south of you some 75 miles in the South End of the Grand Strand of SC temps about the same with the wind blowing. Since we are both retired we are hunkered in wood stove going. It is supposed to be really cold this weekend. My wife does work 2 nights at Wally World stocking shelves and has to work tonight. Now tomorrow I have to sorta work. I run sound at my church and we have a big concert coming up tomorrow night. I have to go early to do set up on like 50 different singers and musicians. Will be in around 10AM or so. Do not know how long it will take to rig and set up. Program is at 7 PM tomorrow night. I basically have not been on here lately because my mornings are basically the same and not exciting. Popular Post tdroma98
Good Wednesday Spies! It was a COLD Central Florida morning this morning. Popular Post Dead Solid Bogey
Good afternoon… We are above freezing. To make sure that today is the end of the northern polar vortex’s vacation in my part of Texas… I am requesting the following from our northern friends….. Thank you in advance. I am planning on not having to wear long pants when tee time arrives tomorrow and as we all know, I don’t need any outside help in looking foolish or deranged. May the rest of your day be as fulfilling and exciting as you want it to be. sirchunksalot, ZJeb67, MattWillGolf and 12 others 1
