Popular Post Wasper007
Good morning everyone. Couldn’t ask for better weather in July here in Virginia. Just got a 45 minute ride on the indoor assault bike. yesterday got out with family and practiced 4 holes with my 5 and 2 year old little girls. My 5 year old’s ability and excitement is so awesome to see. I would personally love to play more golf but I love these moments as they are hard to replicate. Popular Post Byrnzee
Good morning Spies! Had a great day yesterday being able to follow around a friend during his round at the Korn Ferry event at The Glen Club. He was striking the ball great, just couldn't get the putter to work. Probably burned 5 or 6 edges on putts for a -4 67. He was also playing with Sam Bennett, the 2022 US Am Champ and Low Am at the 2023 Masters. Very cool experience and I wish him the best in the rest of the tournament this weekend. Headed to Six Flags Great America today for continued birthday celebrations with some friends. Weather is looking absolutely perfect and it should be a fun day. I've never been to this amusement park but was checking out their website and they have a ton of roller coasters, which should be a blast. Another awesome testing opportunity with the New Level 480 Irons! I haven't heard much about this brand, but the price seems great and I'm interested to hear how testing goes! Popular Post sirchunksalot
Good morning everyone! It's a warm, humid morning here unlike where @cksurfdude is. Hey Chuck, send some of that weather this way please. My wife and I are having a date night tonight since the sister-in-law is house sitting for some friends and we're going out for some Chinese food tonight. I was able to get some golf in yesterday and while I didn't play as well as the last couple of times, I had fun and am still enjoying seeing some progress in my game. My goal this year is to play from the green tees (2900 yards) until I shoot 45 or lower before moving back to the whites. My last three rounds have been 47, 48, and 51. There's still a ways to go, but we'll get there. I hope y'all have a wonderful start to the weekend. Popular Post Shrek74
Good morning, Spies!! The last round of the TN Women's Open (Epson Tour) is today here at our Stonehenge course. Luckily, the weather has held out for them for the most part. Tomorrow's not looking good for our round though. 80% chance of rain. We are scheduled at Stonehenge, which means we'd play their final round pins. That's always an interesting thing to experience. Hopefully dad and I get most, if not all the work on my clubmaking workbench done today. Attach the cabinets, attach the plywood to the bottom, attach the casters, and attach the butchblcok counter. The plywood needs some more spray paint to seal it and the butcherblock needs to be sanded and stained. So it's not all getting done today sadly. Everyone have a great day!! Had a really nice dinner last night with my family. I grilled pollo asada and carne asada for tacos. Pacificos went down nicely. No golf for a bit. We head north tomorrow. May make a side trip to Lake Tahoe. Ocean views Wishing all a wonderful day!
