Morning everyone! Going to be another warm day here, hoping for a slow day at work but not counting on it! Going to hit the range on the way home and hit at least a small bucket. Hope it’s a fantastic day for everybody!

Morn all! Lovely morning here, a bit of rain and shine, so far. 

Got a call from our house sitter yesterday. Water has come up from our drain in the shower and flooded our floors. Luckily it’s tile so the it’s easy to clean up, but the problem remains.

Whenever the farmland in the area is ready for harvesting the tractors leave dirt and loose hay in the streets, clogging up the drains. The streets flood and create a small river that flows to the backyard. Not sure if that’s part of the problem, but it’s definitely not the part of the solution. We’ll need to get an expert in when we get back. 

Ah well, we’re on holiday! Have a good day everybody!

Had a good rsnge session yesterday with the 9i TS4 I built this week - my first iron build. The head didn’t fly off, so I consider that a success!

Good morning Spies, on what looks like to be a picture perfect weather day here. Sunny and high 70's, low humidity for today, as we had a cold front move through late yesterday with large storms preceeding it.

High winds, loss of power in some areas, and trees down all over the place,

Looking forward to the weekly call later today.

Hope your day is the best it can be, and that some may get some golf in too.

Happy Thursday spies!! Woke up to mid 60s and a few clouds while today’s forecast is mid 80s with a slight chance of rain. Taking clubs to work anyways and hope that it doesn’t rain me out today.

GM & Happy Thursday!  SWMBO and I are off to an early breakfast.  No golf today but a lot of weeding.   
Played yesterday B4 the rain and played well, no birdies but lot of pars.  Had 2 birdie attempts fail due to leaving the pin in.  Driver was working and I’m still happy with the PXG ball.  I’ve played 72 holes with the same sleeve and they still look brand new, serious durability.

Good morning everyone! It's a beautiful morning this morning, but it doesn't do much for me today as I am getting ready to head to my grandmas to take care of her for a few days. Unfortunately, that means no golf for a few days. I have a lot of grad school that needs done, so I will be spending most of my time on that. 

The good news is, I have two days to work ahead in my class which can open up more time to play golf next week. Looking forward to the nice weather upcoming and getting out to play well!

No golf for me the rest of the week, hurt my shoulder when I hit a root with my practice swing during league play Monday. Went to the Dr. Wednesday he said nothing damaged just an inflamed rotator cuff, got a cortisone shot and it feels a lot better. Our golf trip is next Tuesday and I don't want to hurt it more and miss this trip, I will probably play Monday if there is no pain. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning spy's

I went to the club yesterday to pick up a new 16 1/2 degree tailor-made 3 wood that I was fitted for, with my swing speed I was fitted into a regular shaft and I want it to be a scoring (200) yd carry club for me so we lengthened it to a 5 wood length, I had the opportunity to hit it once yesterday and it performed exactly the way I wanted to, amazing!!

I also gamed my new Takomo irons so it was a day of new clubs for me. I wasnt supposed to play however I walked into the pro shop and the GM asked if I would join him and his buddy for a round, so off we went and had a great day, lots of fun but lost 5$ lol... 

Back at it today, my game is where it is, going into the provincial tournament I am not going to fool around much with the swing but am going to work on being "present" on every shot, looking forward to the next couple of weeks...

Happy Thursday fellow spies! Lunch range session got rained out yesterday, so after the kids were asleep I went out onto the course to play two holes before it got too dark to see. Shorter day at work today and then we are closing on some land we sold at 4pm, then swimming lessons for our oldest at 6pm. Hope everyone has a great day!

One inside job and one outside job lined up for today.  Adding the steps to a new landing entryway but the lady hasnt picked the railing system she wants yet.  Not sure what i am going to do for a temp handrail.

No golf tonight but maybe tomorrow evening if tomorrows work doesnt wear me out and the storms stay away.

Well since I am in the PXG Hero’s Program I took the plunge last night. Ordered a Battle Ready II Bat Attack - Platinum, 34 inches, 2 degrees flat with the PXG Straight II grip and M16 putter shaft. Can’t wait for this to arrive. Will report on the hollow body foam filled putter!!

Morning everyone. After getting 45 holes the last two days I’m taking the day off. Well, every day is a day off in the summer when you’re a teacher, lol. Just gonna sit back and enjoy an extra cup of coffee today before I get ready to fire up the homebrew system after lunch. Hosting my homebrew club meeting this evening which is always a good time. For this playing today, hit ‘em straight and don’t leave any birdies on the greens.

Looking like alright weather but late night after we took the kids out to look at the starts and an outside chance of seeing the northern lights, but no luck. Everyone slept in this morning and now really getting into the work day. Hope everyone enjoys it!

We had a similar problem not too long ago, although .. it wasn't just water backing up... Turns out the house trap was clogged so the umm stuff wasn't draining out to the cesspool.....

 

Anyway, Happy Tuesday everyone!

Played 9 with my honey yesterday afternoon and it went way better for one of us vs the other . She killed me on putting, too - we have an ongoing contest each time we play. But I'm honestly happy she did well .. she really wants to play better so that was a huge confidence builder for her!

And now she's off for the weekend to a family wedding in VA that I got excused from so I could stay home and take care of old poochie. Hopefully the two of us can survive ok a few days without her

Good Thursday Morning Spies! 

Sunny & warm Central Florida Morning. Range time this morning & a nice 79 degrees at 7:30am.  Not a bad range session. Back was a little tender, but hit the ball well at the range. Worked on putting once again.  Then out of the blue ran into my first golf coach & acquaintance friend. But hadn't seen him in over 10yrs, we walked by each other as I was leaving the range, then it hit us both about the same time. Wait a minute I know that guy! LOL. He just retired & now getting back into golf, and we'll get out to play in the near future. What a surprise!
