I might be the king of playing bad in tournaments. I spent most my high school school shooting 4 to 5 strokes about my average on tournaments days. So I feel your pain.

Good Sunday DAY Spies! 

A little late today, got in 18 this morning, no rain, HOT!  Got off to a good start on front 9, with 34, then cooled off in 95 degree weather with a 36 on back. Putter went dead cold again.  Cold just like yesterday's round, but did manage to get 18 in & rain did miss us @Rickp! Good call!

This should probably be In Random but noticed something the other day.   Our 3 year old car has 6,770 miles on it, our 10 month old golf cart has over 3,000 miles on it.  Won’t take long for the golf cart to over take the car on mileage.

We got the thunderstorms @ 11 am, came in fast from the west and we got caught in it with the cart. Not the 1st time.

I’m pretty sure the cart is our main vehicle with car as a backup.

Amazing, it was still pretty clear & warm at 11am, in the Orlando area.  Only now at almost 6pm is it clouding up and looking like rain.

Good morning everyone! I hope your week gets off to a good start. It's an early startup for me, we had some work done on the lines and they like making sure nothing is messed up.

It stormed last night, but it's looking like it's going to be clear for the early part of the week with more rain coming on Thursday.

Happy Monday morning spies! 63° and clear skies with temps predicted to be low 80s today. Early start to work means early out so clubs are going with me just in case I decide to head to a golf course afterwards.

GM & Happy Monday!!  Off to a 7am Tee Time for 9 holes B4 thunderstorms roll in.  
Big day today oldest Gdaughter turns 21 today we’ll FT her later.  17 year old Gson was invited to a America Legion player Showcase tomorrow.  There will be 30-40 college & Pro scouts to check out the kid’s baseball skills.  It’s a big deal for these kids and a wonderful experience.  Gson stats are really good so hope he has fun and enjoys it.

Well this is a first - I'm not the guy who's the first one (outside of grounds crew) to the golf course!

But looks like it's clearing after crazy hard rain with thunder and lightning yesterday and last night 

Course is still gonna be wet and just found out it's walking only .. so gonna be a very, very light carry bag with just a few clubs for the playing round with Monte!

Good morning MGSpies on an overcast but warm Monday after a busy weekend full of awesome summer activities, making the yard look excellent, PGA HOPE final session in the books for Southern Meadows, and afternoon out with son looking at a project car that was not 'the one.'  coffee making its mark on improving the first day back on the zero commute since Thursday playing catchup for Friday with no golf other than forum for today but will be playing the open mic night with the Walh Brothers Band at Talty's Tavern in South Buffalo  (I'm the young son-in-law of one of them). Hope golf is a part of your day

Had a new shiny toy show up saturday morning, so I of course had to break it in sunday with 90.00 worth of beer ingredients.

Not cheap, but man do you get what you pay for.

Good morning everyone, and a happy everyone. Hopefully anyone in the NY near the folding is safe, places got 7 inches in 3 hours which is just insane. Has been raining here daily so rivers are high and I am sure if we got rain like that we would be in trouble. Back to work today after a nice weekend golfing, fun fair with the kids, and then cleaning. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning all.  
Dermatologist appointment today.  I have had more than my fair share of sun damage over the years and have had to have several visits for removal, some routine, some not so much. Nothing life threatening but some that have altered my appearance.  At the risk of sounding like a nag, Don’t skimp on the sun screen.  It’s worth the small investment and the extra few minutes to apply.

Finally had to get my first LN2 blasting a few weeks ago.  Overall he said my skin was in pretty good shape most of the damage being confined to my face / neck, everywhere else was a-ok at least.

Good morning, All! I haven't been on as much over the last (hectic) month. Hope everyone is doing great. I had a lesson in early June that made things click mentally. Previously I was adrift in guessing at what I should do to improve my swing (and previous lessons with other Pros did nothing to help). Brad Luebchow (teaching Pro at Maple Chase in Winston-Salem, NC) changed all of that. Given that I have an engineering background, Brad let his Golfing Machine fandom out a bit and explained what and why for a good foundation for my swing (previous instructors simply said try this or that). It has been a rough month implementing changes (first a bit better, then severe lows, following by things starting to click on the range yesterday throughout the bag. Of course, now I all I can think about is getting back out there to see if I can repeat and get better... Have a round on the books for Friday afternoon, but not sure if I can get out before then. May have to suffer!

We have a gorgeous weather day on tap here.  A busy work day will keep me away from the course, sadly.  I got my fix a bit last night by building a club and filling in the paint on the Miura irons.  Tinkerers gotta tinker.

Good Morning spies! A beautiful Monday morning here in Iowa which means 18 holes of golf today! Going out with the wife and my best man and his wife.

Went out to the range yesterday and hit balls for the first time in almost two weeks. Between the smog, weather, and wedding, I haven't played golf in too long. I'm looking forward to getting out and playing today to see what I can score.

Good morning all, 

I am still in the sunny okanagan (the interior of B.C,) I have a two man best ball tournament today and tomorrow at a facility called the Okanagan Club. 

If any of you have been following my posts I have just come off an up and down tournament emotionally and now, yes, I am going right back into one.

I have always wanted to get lots of "reps" in with the tournament circuits since I have always had to wait 2-3 weeks up to a  month from one tournament to another so this year decided to fill up my calendar as much as I could.

It is a new adventure for me so we will see how it goes, it actually feels good to be able to put my tough tournament I just had on the shelf and start a new one right away. 

Always learning new things in this golf journey.

Thanks!  He is great. When I joined the Club in March, one of my work colleagues told me that folks from his club come over to our club to work with Brad. I now see why...
