Good morning, Spies!  Yes, there is rain again this morning, thus my showing up in the The Good Morning Thread during the proper hours.  The predicted weather for Saturday morning is 39° with possible frost and I am not ready for cooler temperatures.

Morning everybody! 

Cooler temps here today. Might get to the range but no golf today. Too much work is getting in the way of my course time for sure…..

I do have a gig to play tonight so that will be something I am looking forward to. When I am not working, or playing golf, I play drums in a band (or two). Here’s hoping to get out this weekend and chase the ball some more.

Good Morning Spies!  Rain stopped play this morning, but Saturday looks like it is still on.  Finished getting the house build designed yesterday afternoon and have a preconstruction meeting in a week and should break ground by the end of the month!

Good morning! Calm cool morning here with rain looming the rest of the day. I was able to get in two rounds this week and both were by myself. I haven’t done that much this year and it was quite relaxing. The courses were surprisingly empty given the phenomenal weather we had this week so I was just able to soak things in and enjoy the outdoors!
I’m hoping it doesn’t rain too much today and I can get out with some friends tomorrow.

Good Thursday Morning Spies!

Nice Central Florida morning, 74 degrees for a 7am tee time. Except a tournament would have delayed tee time to 8am, so instead they needed help setting up the tourney & I worked this morning. Fun seeing & working the business side of golf. No golf today.  That's ok, working regular job from home today and I plan on completing a Stack session late this afternoon.  Enjoying a nice cup of coffee, reading The Good Morning Threads. 

You take care of that knee @Preeway!!

Good morning all!

 

It's amazing how quickly the leaves start to change but this is my favorite time of year.  I think I like just before "peak" leaf peeping season because I enjoy seeing some bright pops of color next to some trees that are still green.

 

Weather for Saturday's tournament is bouncing all over the place, but even if we do get rain it's supposed to be light, so I think that will be a go.  I'd really hate if it got postponed, so here's to hoping we get to play!

Good Morning everyone!  Another beautiful sunny 80º day ahead, but no golf.  I need a day off after walking 9-holes carrying my MGS Forum Jones bag and shooting a +2 round.  However, I could NOT hit my driver!!  Short game and putting saved me!  

Note to self:  Don't do my PT exercises and then go walk 9-holes!!  I wasn't sure I was going to make it, and I'm dragging this morning.  

I hate wasting a beautiful day; maybe I'll work in the yard..... NAH!  Have a thrilling Thursday whatever you are doing and enjoy life!

Good morning and happy Friday!

It's a nice morning here and I just hit the parking lot at work. It's supposed to cool off considerably tomorrow and we'll be seeing some proper fall weather. I am working tomorrow due to the job calling production overtime for us.

The community call was great last night with Matt Blois and I'm going to have to give it a rewatch since I got on late and had to take a phone call in the middle.

Good morning Spies on a cool clear TGIF morning here. Did not have the opportunity for a no commute work day, so already in and hoping to get done by the end of the day so I can have a no commute Monday if possible. Bad thing for me is I need to rely on another person to show up and do their job for this to happen, and they are not the most reliable at doing this.

Golf round scheduled for tomorrow, and with the long-range forecast looking to be cold and wet, it may be the last round for a few weeks.

Hope that your day is the best it can be, and no matter what may be in your plans, you have some enjoyable time.

Happy Friday!  Got the coffee going and looking at what needs to get done today for clients.  Weather is supposed to be cooler this weekend which will be a nice change. 

A few big games on Saturday to watch and plan on getting a round in.

Good morning MGSpies from a wet and dark morning here in WNY  after an epic day yesterday after work with golf reuniting the old foursome including @Marc Threeput in from the Denver area for a visit on the long weekend, on our regular course with the Community Call on as we played and then picnic dinner afterwards.

 

Busy weekend filling in as soon as work ends today that includes moving in-laws to their new place, son's NCAA Cross Country race in Houghton NY, and whatever it is SWMBO tells me to do  hope golf is a part of your day!

Long week for me, ready for a long weekend! Bummed I missed the forum call yesterday, but good news looks like we are moving that conflicting meeting from Thursdays to Tuesdays, score!

Looks like Fall has arrived, only 48° this moment. Getting out to play early tomorrow morning with my wife, playing partner, and his wife. Really looking forward to wearing some layers and not sweating my butt off out there. Have another 18 planned for my day off on Monday at my favorite course.

Hoping I can leave work early, and get to the practice green for some putter testing. So far so good on the PuttOut, but that can only get you so far.

Little rain middle of the day but clearing so gonna get at least part of a round in later, getting dark faster, this winter stuff, Ya Know? Is it over yet?

Grey, overcast and foggy here but no rain .. yet... Temps still mild, too, but we all know that's gonna change soon.

Got a few things done around the house yesterday plus some needed lawn patching in the afternoon (aerated first, then some turf builder with broadleaf weed killer, some full sun rye mix seed then a light cover of topsoil. And some watering of course!).

Hoping to get some range time in later, otherwise some light indoor exercise and catch up on that replay of the community call.

Hope y'all have a Fun Friday whatever it entails for ya!!

Friday in She World my spies is normally a fun day for the indentured. Not today, the bossy female is taking me in for the myriad of medical tests she and the physician /gutter repair individual that she found for me have decided on. So praying that the outcome is survival of the tests and just no golf for me today. 
   I got so ,so close to making through the “Princess of Purchases” buying blitz without drama and punishment yesterday. For the “visit “ to the first 12 establishments, I was able to hold true to the husband mantra of the day of…….However, when we arrived at the dreaded super shoe store of all shoe stores and the wife person informed me she would be awhile, she then trapped me by asking me what I was going to do…I could not restrain myself and blurted out the insurrection verbiage of..

Needless to say, when we arrived back to the “Female Fantasyland” I was put in the husband holding tank and my medical testing dietary restrictions were started 8 hours early…    
   We are now off to; poke, prod, bleed, cough, and say ahhh land. 
   Hope the rest of the spy nation has a great jump on the weekend. If someone has the time, might they consider hitting a shank for me, while on the practice range of course.

Got out for a lovely round yesterday, and shot pretty well as I outlined in the How'd You Play thread, shot a 75 and got some beautiful views. Today my wife is off on an adventure and my girls are home. Should be a lovely day.

Owl's Nest looks just as nice as when I played it in 2007. Gorgeous course - esp in the fall.

Yes very nice views though a bit of a hike, I always get the "You sure you wanna walk?" from the starter, "Yes, I have been here before I know how hilly the back is." Makes for a great work out. Course was still in good shape, though the number of spike marks was out of this world, it looked like no one was picking up their feet.

Good Friday Morning Spies! 

A little warmer in Central Florida, than the chilly numbers seeing up north. 75 degrees & starting to cloud up, hope the rain holds off for today.  Finishing up first cup of espresso, getting ready for Ranger duties today. Hopefully get in 9 holes after work.  Itching to play, especially after a TheStack session last night.  One cool thing about golf, you never stop learning.  While there's a bit of disappointment in seeing my current swing speeds, I'm learning more about my swing in just 4 sessions!

Good morning all and happy Friday! Out of the office by 3pm today and then taking the boys to the new Paw Patrol movie at a theater about 35 minutes from home. They've got the big recliner chairs and prices are SUPER cheap. Only $32 for all 4 of us for tickets, and concessions are reasonable as well. Should be a really fun evening. Tomorrow morning we are heading to a friend's house in Appleton, WI, for a college friend group reunion and heading to a beer festival for the afternoon. Haven't seen a few of our friends in multiple years so looking forward to that as well.

Owl's nest.... you son-of-a! 

 

I think that is my favorite finishing hole of any course I've played.  Top notch views, a challenging, but not too difficult hole layout (unless the wind is blowing straight at you), some nice chairs to sit and watch groups come in, and the dang strongest gin and tonics you'll find in NH from the bar behind the green!

They built out a new patio there off the 18th overlooking the 10th. The other local course was bought by them so my membership this month (the other course is closed for renovations) got me out for just the $24, even though I walked. Still a good deal.
