Good morning all, and happy Thursday! Today is my Friday as I am off work tomorrow. We are heading to a small country music festival in a town north of Milwaukee called Cedarburg mid morning with another couple. Going to see my favorite artist, Kip Moore, as well as a solid lineup of some other very good country artists. Hoping to mix a morning 9 hole round of golf in somewhere over in that direction Saturday morning as well. We will see what happens!

Good morning everyone, looks like no golf today with showers and thunder storms rolling through the area. Didn't play that great yesterday the course was wet and every time it's like that I seem to hit most my shots in that thick wet ruff, I try hitting more club than I need and I still can't get it to the green. Well I will try again tomorrow. Have a wonderful day everyone.

WTF!!!   I went to the course yesterday and found out that it will be closed during some of the best weather conditions of the year!!!  From Friday September 8 through Tuesday September 12 the city is hosting a car show.  While I like car shows, this is a horrible time to close the course!!  If the golf gods have any say in the matter, it will be blowing dust at 30 mph followed immediately by a drizzle of rain.

Well, Good Morning everyone!!  Rant over!  I hope you are gearing up for a great weekend of golf.  My wife is playing in her Ladies Club Championship and she is saying that several of the ladies are gunning for her this year.  Her game is not the best right now; I hope she can turn it around by Saturday.  I'll have to find somewhere else to play this weekend on try to walk-on later in the day.

Well, it's that time of year again. Aeration time.

Just got the email with the schedules for our 5 courses. Luckily they spread it out over a 5 week period, but it's also the best time of year (September & October) with lower temps and way lower humidity. Oh well, get on and take a 2 putt and head to the next hole time I guess.

Good morning everyone. QAs captain of Team Questionable Judgement I felt proud to play 9 holes in perhaps the worst heat I’ve ever tried to endure. 

I didn’t rival the swamp ass displayed by Lucas Glover but I did get the A for effort. Taking a short break until the temps get back to a reasonable level again. For now, have a great day everyone!

Don’t have the time for a round, so heading to the Sim with a good friend to play 18 in less than 1.5 hours.  Looking forward to beating the heat / weather too.

Good Thursday Morning Spies! 

Nice Central Florida morning - 80 degrees at 6:45am tee time.  Walked 9 holes, well actually 11, we were told it was a back 9 start today, then maintenance came out and told us we had to go back & play front first, they put chemicals on the greens. Wondered why golf ball was glowing on the 10th green . So got some extra steps in today & caught in a quick rain shower, but I was already soaked before the rain.

@Lacassem you the man & that flower patterned dress went well with the tattoo's ! 

On 2nd cup of coffee, working from home again!

work from home today, my wife’s brother had orientation for his first year at college and my son has orientation for middle school so would have had to head out of the office early. Coffee is always better at home!

And for everyone’s entertainment. My leagues tradition is that the last place person from last year either had to wear a dress to the draft or pay a 2nd buy in fee….and the way I look at it is that’s money for golf so I got dolled up. Pictured is myself and @GolfSpy BOS the unfortunate winner of last year…..

@Shrek74 punched greens seem like a small price to pay for the luxury of having five courses to choose from!  That's great!

@CSiders12 - I know back to school is crazy.  One of my good buddies is a HS chemistry teacher.  He texted me last week to say that only one student contributed any songs to the classroom lab time music playlist, so it was going to be all death/thrash metal until someone else made a suggestion.  Thought that was pretty funny.  I can only imagine what that playlist will be like in a few weeks.  Wonder if I would prefer the death metal?  Good luck to you this school year.

I talked with my neighbor yesterday - a retired executive -  when taking out the trash.  He forgot what day it was, and said, "I actually have a week with six Saturdays and a Sunday."  Man, I aspire to that.  Golf, golf, golf!  (And fly fishing too.)

Mark played which dress he was going to wear just the way it fit... rather tight to the chest that is.  So it was purely coincidence that we coordinated so well.

Good Morning all!  Still stupidly hot, and covering for vacations, so still haven't made it out.  Looks like we should be getting better weather next week, so will have to make up for it then!

Our main course is getting Champions Tour treatment for September 5-10th, so it is playing more difficult than normal, excited to test myself with that.

... OMG you are just so beautiful, but I have many questions! What type of material? Do you love the drape for full swings? What color panties? Did you consider a shorter length to show off your thighs? And while I don't like making crass judgements based on a picture, I do think a nice sunhat with a pink band that takes the focus away from your high waist would have looked so much nicer than your backwards ball cap that just being brutally honest, doesn't go with your very attractive dress. But of course I am just nit picking ...

Mark may be the only other team in our league with multiple championships,

But there ain't nothing coincidental about our matchup history...

That's nearly a decade of pure dominance.

 

*For those interested, scoring is very different in this league.  80 points per week is really good.

Ended up playing 27 and had some decent shots.  Loved the GC Quad system from Foresight. The new software system is great. Just takes a little getting used to seeing you data on the bottom of the screen instead of the top right. But it was pretty good. A little glitchy sometimes but all in all pretty nice graphics and interface etc. 

it was raining on and off here so it was perfect.

I got the aeration notice for my home course. Monday will be the front 9 and Tuesday will be the back 9. The season seems to be flying by this year.
