The more I look at their bags, the more I lean towards the black / gold fusion colorway. Something about that accent color just does it for me.

We are another day closer to finding out who the group of testers will be, so here is my daily obligatory gif

First of all, I just want to say thank you to MGS and Cobra for such a fantastic opportunity! Also, Cobra is on something this year because their irons look dreamy . I mean, look at the CB/MB lineup... sitting there looking absolutely gorgeous. 

My dream setup would include a set of those lovely irons 4-P, along with the Black and Gold stand bag. Something about a 14-slot bag makes me feel better about my golf bag organization. 

The rest of my bag includes 3 Snakebite wedges, 50, 54, 58 degrees; Aerojet 3-wood and 4-Hybrid; with the big dog of the Aerojet LS. All of that put together is a work of art. Now if my game could accompany the looks of the clubs, my golf game would be in great shape!

I think Cobra has the best iron lineup this year by far. As much as i am a huge fan of the fact that Cobra never shy's away from some color the CB's, MB's, and Tour irons all just look absolutely perfect. Especially the tour's. The MIM's were a solid iron and very sneaky good the updated Tour's are a huge step up.

My husband gets the wrong turn frequently but not on purpose.  Our 5 year old granddaughter says " You made an oopsie Papa!"

I had too much fun doing this...remind me of back in the day going on to Nike ID and designing myself 10 pairs of shoes that I'll never buy. I hope someone here is with me on that. 

Anyways, here is what my setup will when if (when?...if) I am selected to participate in the challenge. Obviously threw in the 50th Anniversary Edition for the driver. Not sure if its eligible but the looks are to die for. Only a few days away from the announcement day!

100000% with you on Nike ID!!! Favorite baseball shoes I ever owned were some Shox I got from the Nike ID site. Still have them actually haha. Even though my days of team sports are long gone I still go on there for nostalgia purposes once in a great while . Great bag set up!

Haha yessss! That brings back some memories. I remember designing my Nike basketball shoes and having my name on the tongue, thought it was so cool. IIRC, New Balance had the same system and I did a lot on there as well.

I chose AEROJET MAX and King Forged Tec X for the forgiveness as I am a high handicap golfer, and the AEROJET 4 hybrid as my rescue club. Although I am a big fan of individual spaces for my clubs, I chose the Pro+ stand bag because I like to walk courses, so I value having the straps and stand over the individual spaces.

I couldn’t agree more. The Cobra King tour line looks fantastic this year. And despite the negative feedback on the looks of the Aerojet, I find it to be a fine looking driver. The 50th anniversary edition looks unbelievable though. Overall, this may be the best year for cobra clubs from top to bottom. I can’t remember ever being this hyped to try Cobra clubs!

Question for the group, what part of the bag excites you the most if you are lucky enough to be chosen? Is it the bag itself? The driver? Or something else?

Personally, I'm really excited about the Forged Tec irons and the 3D Printed, SIK Face putters. After demoing the irons and seeing those insane numbers, it's hard not to be excited about that. But those putters are just so cool and feel amazing coming off the face. I've always loved the idea of the descending loft technology that SIK created and I'm amazed at what we're capable of with 3D printing so those putters are right up my alley.

One thing I'm super interested in trying is all of the new Aerojet fairways and hybrids with no signature Cobra Baffler rails. I will admit that the rails are what drew me to Cobra a few years ago but they have slowly been doing away with them and on my Big Tour 3 wood I don't seem to care that they're gone.

I think what I am most excited about is the irons and wedges as well. My current gamers are Taylormade RSi 1s which came out in the 2014 product cycle, so I'm curious to see if there's a big jump in both ball speed and forgiveness. I've got a 56* wedge that I had built at a place that does off brand components when I was in college so I've never actually had a legitimate wedge set. My woods are more modern, with a TSi 3 driver and Sim 2 max fairway wood, so it would be interesting to see if there's much of a jump with the Cobra line as a couple years newer cycle. The time seems to just be dragging until the tester announcement!!

I think the start of testing season should solidify for all members that there are going to be TONS of opportunities. I know on the community call yesterday it was mentioned there were, what, 32 confirmed tests already with mods still making calls and filling spots? Going to be such a fun year of testing and I personally can't wait to see what else is in store.

For the Snakebite Wedges, only the 56, 58, and 60 degree options are full face grooves. The Snakebite-X however are full face across all lofts which is interesting. Should help for the player that sometimes misses out toward the toe.

It's a good thing Cobra specified which bags are eligible for testers because the first thing I would've done if selected would've been to pick the Vessel bag from the Players lol. Thing is a stunner.

I would go through a fitting at Cobra's Tour Truck that happens to be located in my hometown course, which would be a pretty awesome experience in and of itself (and think of the #content!), but this is the bag that I have already built for myself on their website 3 or 10 times.

Honestly, I'm excited about trying the same brand across the entire bag, looking at loft sequences with the same type of club design. Having different technology on different clubs although loft might fit within what you're looking for can play a part in how you swing and outcome, where having the same brand and type top to bottom might really help translate to more of a consistent swing and distance control.
