rkj427
Not one favorite as all of them are good, if not they wouldn't be on the tour. For me personally, I like Scottie Scheffler for his attitude, and understanding that all of them are humans too. He seems "down to earth" and appreciative of the opportunities his golf career has given him, and also seems to have a demeanor when playing that as long as he tries his best, the end result even if he doesn't win, is what he deserved that particular week. Shapotomous
I dont have a favorite. I like watching the guys and gals with quirky swings do well as it shows there are many paths to a consistent, effective ball strike. Golf2Much
@d0m41n, welcome to the forum. Currently, it's Ricky Fowler for a few reasons (some more logical than others). I appreciate his efforts to fight back and regaining his game. For the last several years he seemed lost. Too often others in that situation would have given up. He chose to dial back the commercials, recommit to the game and had a very good year. The less than logical reason is that we share the last name. I still like him and follow him even though Cousin Ricky (no real relation) this year, like the past 14 years during his pro career, he did not send me Masters tickets or signed golf memorabilia! Let's see if he gets an invite for Thanksgiving here in Key West this year! Middler
I’m not sure I have a favorite, but probably JT if I had to choose one. There are at least a dozen guys that will get me to tune in when they’re in contention. There are very few I’m not rooting for when in contention. E.g. I didn’t know much about Brian Harman, but I was happy to see him get a big win. Same for Lucas Glover yesterday, seemed like a hardworking, decent guy who was grateful to win again. Happy to see Spieth back in form, same with Fowler. Happy for Matt Fitzpatrick to break thru twice. Happy for Finau to pull off several wins after a few years. My bride has a clear favorite, Rory. She seems to pull for Xander too? All the LIV defectors went down a peg for me, but honestly there were only three I was sorry to see defect (Smith, Ancer, Varner). I couldn’t stand Phil, Sergio or Bryson before LIV. If they come back to the PGA I will root against them at every opportunity. ParFore74x
There are quite a few players on tour that I enjoy watching. JT, Rickie, and Max Homa are pretty high up on my list and if they are in a featured group that’s probably where my TV is set. However, number one on my list is Tommy Fleetwood. When he’s having a good day he is a blast to watch. When he’s having an off day I enjoy the fact that he remains totally chill and just tries to find his game. tdroma98
Have to agree with many Spies, there are many favorite players, but not one dominate one. Funny a golf buddy asked the question this morning, since Tiger, who do you drop everything to watch on PGA Tour? There isn't a player who had the impact Tiger & Jack Nicklaus had. There are many great players: Scheffler, JT, Homa, Harman, Morikawa, Hatton, Cantlay, Schauffle, Speith, Rory, Day, Fowler, Finau, Rahm. Rahm is great to watch. As for Tommy Fleetwood, he's the real deal @ParFore74x. A friend of mine, was a caddy at a club Fleetwood a member & my buddy said Fleetwood was & is a true gentleman. Nice to everyone, a gentleman & respectful. It's so good to hear! Will be nice to see Fleetwood win a PGA event! One last note, there are varying opinions, but I don't miss a one of the SaudiLIV defectors. The PGA has good stable. d0m41n and ParFore74x 2 Quote Titleist T200 Irons - 5i thru Gap Wedge - Stiff AMT Black Callaway PARADYM X 9.0 with Hazrdous X Black 6.0 Stiff Shaft Fairway Woods: Callaway Maverick 3W & RazrX Black 5W - Stiff Flex Rescue: Apex 4 (22 degree )- Recoil 75H stiff flex Wedges: Titleist SM8 - 54 (D Grind) wedge flex; SM8 58(M grind) wedge flex Putter: Scotty Cameron Phantom X5.5 Ball: Titleist ProV1 Handicap:

I was just watching a TaylorMade challenge video with him and wasn't really familiar. 19 hours ago, ParFore74x said: There are quite a few players on tour that I enjoy watching. GolfSpy TCB
Love to see Joel Dahmen in the comments above... he is from my Grandparents hometown... Clarkston, Washington - and LOVED the Full Swing episode featuring him. It is difficult to pick my favorite... Probably easier to pick my least favorites (but I will leave that for a different thread ). I do love to watch many of the guys mentioned above. Fowler, Fleetwood, Finau - and I watched Scheffler in person at the Houston Open come close but just short - back before he was dominating the tour. But I'm going to pick a couple of future "Schefflers" in my opinion.. Sahith Theegala, Cameron Young and Tom Kim.
