But haha fingers crossed I don't disgust myself so badly I end up throwing my clubs in a lake and give up the sport

I about did that yesterday with my wedges, I finally decided they weren't at fault. I think I just need to practice with them more, they might have been feeling neglected.

As I *think* has been discussed here before (granted, we're 10 pages in, so no wonder it may have gotten lost), the trip organization is currently only open to stay-and-play until the middle of April.  At that point, we can check and see if we can reserve any 'golf only' tee times.

Yep, the ball can roll back about 60 yards if you don’t get it far enough onto the green.

I have done that when I first played there and didn’t know where to hit shots.

Same here…it’s pretty depressing to hit a perfect drive, have 120 in and hit a decent shot and then have 80 yards left for your third after the ball comes racing back towards you.

Also a PSA...There is still room left for at least 3 more players, possibly a 4th.   But I'll need to know by the middle of March for sure for your commitment then April 1 deadline to get your deposit paid, and balance due May 1st.

This is a nice overview and shows more of the course and subtleties than the course flyover videos.

Me too, Derek. I've watched a couple of videos on the course and realize it's probably going to eat up quite a few golf balls for me but it's going to be fun losing a few.
