I play the RTX Zipcores in 54 and 58. Looking to replace them this year. I like the looks of the sub70 wedges (all of them really, but love the TAIII) Thoughts @GolfSub70😉

Suggestions for a decent wedge player with inconsistent swings?

Mizuno T20 wedges: 55° Blue & 60° Raw.

They have plenty of play left in them so don't anticipate changing them soon but just in case have a new T22 Blue in waiting.

We want to hear and see what wedges are currently in your bag! Inspired by @Golfspy_CG2 new Vokey SM10 wedges which look amazing it is time to hear from the community about what are the most common wedges our member use!

Photos are encouraged!

What lofts are they?

Are they new? Or are you getting new wedges this season? If so waiting on any specific wedge release?

Let us know!

I run a sm4 52,56 and a raw 60. Would it be weird to drop my 52 and 56 and just add a 54?

I played Cleveland Zipcores, 50/54/58 until a year ago when my wife gave me Edison 53* and 57*. So I gamed them with a Titleist T300 48* GW. Well, I finally replaced the T300 GW with an Edison 49*. The flight is lower but man, the bite is real. My Edison’s are all 1.0

Believe it or not, I just got back into golfing and bought the Kirkland set. Seem to be playing rather well. Would really like to test the pings and see what I'm missing. Taking my game seriously want to become a scratch golfer. Driving the wife nuts.

Pro in mind, scrambler in life.

I have 2.0 Edison Enforcers… 49°,55°, and 59° have had them for over 3 months. The courting process has been long and hard. Most of the time they are still gaming me and not the other way around… But there are occasions that will give me a glimmer of hope.

I currently play the SM9, 50, 54 and 60. I just dumped the stock TrueTemper shaft and dropped in Rifle 7.0 8 iron shafts, cut to spec.  From what I read it will lower the ball flight and give me a little more stopping power.  Hit em at an indoor dome and they feel nice. Has anyone else dropped 8 iron shafts in their wedges?  What has been your feedback on the course?

I play the set pitching wedge from my KZG irons.

I have a Cleveland CBX 50*

I have a Taylormade MG 3 Tiger grind 56* bent to 54*

Currently I have a Renegar 58* which I will replace in March with a Taylormade MG 4 Tiger grind 56* bent to 58* that I need to put a grip on.

I have two brand new Renegar 58* wedges I would be willing to sell for $100 each plus shipping if anyone is interested.

I decided to change my 58* this year.  I ordered a Taylormade MG 4 56* Tiger grind bent to 58/14.  The spin I was getting from my 54 was just so much better than my Renegar 58* that I knew I needed to switch the 58* too.  I did not like the Tiger grind 60 bent to 58* when I bought it in MG 3, so I went with the Renegar last year.  After a year of playing the Tiger 56 bent to 54/10 I knew I need to try one bent to 58/14.  I like it for my home course where we have the rough grown deep and thick.  I like to fly the ball closer to the hole out of the rough and this club stops better.  I have never played a face that feels more abrasive.   I had an old Titleist Vokey spin milled wedge that was a near match and I loved that wedge.

Didn’t like the Vokey SM8 wedges so I switched from Vokey SM7 wedges to Corey Paul wedges a few years ago and have never looked back.

Raw forged steel.  Feel is great and performance has been stellar.

I have tinkered with grinding the soles and the leading edge to get exactly what I want from a bounce, heel, toe, and trailing edge relief.  Plus the various stampings and laser etching options are just very cool to me.

Build them at home with the shafts and grips I want, throw some BB&F ferrules on them and get them swing weighted a little heavier which I prefer.

Just perfect!

Gaming the Jaws Raw here in 50*, 54 bent to 55* and a 60*. Been happy with them till the 60* was giving me some issues last year. 60* is back in the bag and not having issues right now. Considered the full toe in the 60 but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

52-08 Vokey SM4
56-12 Vokey SM9
60-12 Vokey SM9

The wedges have served me well as a beginner golfer. Was thinking in the future to change my 52 degrees to 50 degrees perhaps. My Pitching wedge is 45 degrees currently and do find the gapping was too wide.
Also somehow still find that in my full swing of 56 and 60 degree wedges, distances are pretty much the same. I believe that is because of my technique for sure.

Just got a 50, 52, and 56 TM MG4 wedges, the 56 is a TW grind. They’re replacing my PXG 0311 wedges. When I hit them at the PGA store I was getting over 10K spin, with the Volkey I was around 9K spin.
