I’m away most of the week so with no post button here is my score from yesterday. 
 

gross = 76

Last 2 rounds showing me either my fitness is causing me issues or I can’t play the last 4 holes on the course. Saturday +4 after 13 and finished +10. Yesterday +2 after 14 finished +5

A little rusty after almost a month off. Hit 6 fairways, 13 greens, but had 33 putts. One bad 3 putt cost me. Had 3 bogies and 1 birdie. Longest drive was 298. All up this was a decent day.

@Javs, welcome back and very good score, especially after being away for 3+ weeks.  I'm hoping your back has recovered with the time away.  Well done.

This no POST SCORE thing isn't bothering me.....I have no good scores to post.   Yesterday it was 42 degrees - and I told myself not to do it.  But I did it anyway....put on my long pants, sweatshirt, and even had a vest and a stocking hat to boot.  Hit my drive on 6, topped it about 30 yards and said that was it....couldn't feel the tips of a couple of my fingers!  

Did play today....a balmy 48 degrees.    Nice finish, huh?   3 straight greenside bunkers to finish off my round.

Today, was one of the strangest that I think I've had in a while!

I can't remember doing this before, but my average score on the par 3,4 and 5 were all whole numbers.   I pared each of the four par 3s for an average of 3.00.   I then averaged 5.00 on the par fours and 6.00 the two par 5's.  It's just strange seeing all those zeros.    Then, when I looked at the percentage of pars, bogeys and doubles, each were the same number twice.  I had 44% pars, 33% bogeys and 22% doubles.  It was a strange numbers day to say the least!

I hit every fairway today, something that I typically flirt with, but rarely attain.  So that was 100% fairways hit, 0% left and 0% right.  Again, a number of zeros there.  My driver distance was a few yards shorter, but it was a windy day.  I had 11% greens in regulation, about my average.  The six up and down for pars included a nice sandy par on our eight hole.  

Back to strange, I actually had a pretty good day putting with 27 putts.  I had 11 one putt greens.  However, the round also included two 3 putts greens that I can't remember doing too often.  I made 50% of my putts from 12-18 feet.   Two of those helped mask when I missed simple approach chips.  

With all these numbers popping up, maybe I should go and play the lottery tonight!?

Thank you Sir! Glad to be back. I was guarding the back on the front night. However, after no major issues I was able to get more aggressive with the swing. Felt decent today after so that was a plus. Also had another acupuncture session today. Heading in the right direction and again thank you!

That sounds like prime golfing conditions from November through early to mid April around here!

Blue tees and first round in almost a month. Played my new PXG Gen 7 irons. Hit 13 greens and 6 fairways. Unfortunately, I had 33 putts. Just could get the putts to drop. Overall decent round to knock off the rust.

Had a great driver day after switching to a jumbomax xs grip. Hit 12/14FWs.

My irons today were just short all day long. 8/18GIRs but was on the fringe 5 times.  I wasn't hitting them bad but the greens have dried out and landing front yardage has been better for holding. 

Overall solid round and making progress overall.

It was an interesting day. I’m visiting my mom and played a course that I’ve played 3 times. I called to make a tee time and asked about rental club.  By the response about the rental clubs, I knew I was in for an adventure. When I got there I asked about rental club. The guy said they don’t have rentals. We went to the cart barn to find a set. Ended up with a 20 year old set of club with only a 5 wood.  I think I played fairly well for only have a 5 wood off the tee. I’m sure I would have had a little lower score with a driver. The course was in decent condition. The greens were real good, but the fairways were a little higher than I’m used to.  It rained overnight so they were mowing them while I  was playing.  The fairways were real firm.  I got some decent roll out on my drives. Greens were really accepting to shots into them. They rolled true.

Interesting that your greens were firm. Ours were very soft and very receptive yesterday.

Our irrigation system is 30yrs old and greens get some of the effluent water and fairways are lucky to see any.  It's supposed to start being replaced in the next couple months.

A poor ball striking front 9 but it didnt get too bad at +4, 40 because of sinking some long putts.  I had a better swing going on the back 9 and had 36.  Overall it was a grind it out 76.

I didn't drive it particularly long, but was mostly really accurate today. I also had some of the best fairway wood shots I've ever hit. Couldn't buy a birdie putt.
