      Once the kids are out of school today we are heading down to LA for two days at Universal Hollywood. Never been to the west coast version of Universal, but the kids are excited for the Nintendo and Harry Potter areas. Hopefully I'll be able to enjoy the weekend because next week is already slammed full of appointments and trainings. In the middle of all that I also have my annual review that will need to be scheduled. First time I've ever made it anywhere even remotely close to 5 years at a company. Two and a half was my previous threshold. By the time clients slow down production enough for me to breathe in a few months, I'll be starting the class for Six Sigma Black Belt, so maybe not so much room to breathe?

      What Shot Tracking System Do You Use?

      I use the grint app to track my distance with each club, but I struggle with consistency. I feel like manually tracking each shot distracts me from just playing. Having a system that automatically tracks my club performance would allow me to just enjoy playing, and get the data that I want to be able to improve.

      I'm 45min to an hour early unless it's a quick sunrise round and then I show up, hit a few to losen up and off to the teebox.

      ... 👍  It has been very impressive the way the Lions front office has built the team. I think it is kinda like the golf swing. You can get away with a lot of flaws and use almost a total body swing or a handsy swing and do OK. But blending the entire body together so all working parts kinetically compliment each other and doesn't fight against itself is the real recipe for success. The GM's that understand any one position or side of the ball isn't as important as the entire team. We have seen so many try and reach for a QB when they could be using those top 10 picks to solidify a position for years to come. It also doesn't do much good to draft a DTackle when you already have a great DLine but sub par DB's and holes in the offense. Those are the times you trade down and accumulate picks.  ... The Bears could be a primer in how not to build a team when they moved up one slot to take Trubisky and limited their draft for the next 2 years. The real killer is nobody was gonna trade with the 49ers to take Trubisky and he would have still been there at 3. There is always a chance a 3rd round pick will become a starter. Losing those 3rd round picks didn't help the Bears that needed lots of help at that time.  "The Bears traded up one spot in the first round to choose quarterback Mitchell Trubisky at No. 2, sending selections in the first (No. 3), third (No. 67) and fourth (No. 111) rounds as well as a 2018 third-round pick (No. 70)."

      L.A.B. DF3 Putters - 2024 Forum Review

      I actually got to use the putter today. Got out for 9 holes and it was awesome to use on the course. Even got a nice 15 footer off the fringe! For a 18.5 hanidcap, that's a big deal for me. I will say, it CAN come off the face pretty fast. but it really does just hit it straight. It's hard to describe, but I think I was compensating or adjusting the face of my old putter. I don't feel like I was pushing or pulling puts, but just legitimately hitting my line, and realizing that I really have zero idea how to read a green. Lagging puts was a hit or miss for me. Looking forward to the better golfers reviews. But I think I found the putter thats staying in my bag for a long long time.  Warning: people will notice your putter, and immediately want to try to it, hold it, etc. LOL.
