Yes, the whole top of the stabilty shaft is like solid graphite and thick with 1 degree of torque and this all aluminum milled face putter was so soft to begin with, it hard to tell when you hit it off center. In theory less torque would lead to more feedback because the face is twisting less in impact  and the energy goes up the shaft. Not so with the BGT as the graphite is also a vibration damper.

I think the feel aspect is shaft related.   I have tried a bunch of the graphite putter shafts and the one have on order is low torque, stiff, but I could tell where I was hitting the face.  Off Center provides tactile and audible feedback so the shaft doesn't completely eliminate.

I agree. But I see you have a Sacks Parente. I have used their blade model with the ultra light low torque graphite shaft and there was no lack of feedback there. One of the best feeling putters Ive used. I think its a head/shaft combo in my case as I am usually a blade putter and this is the first time Im using a mallet, a very soft mallet. but I may be able to adapt. Ill give it some more time. This is not a dramatic change as its a putter shaft and the tour has a similar balance point to a typical steel putter shaft. I can always remove the shaft by the head and try a typical steel both just to see if its placebo

Awesome!!! I actually blew one of the lampkins off when I was trimming a driver shaft. Saved the grip so now I try to blow them all off before they go under the knife.🔪

Youre not lying sir. Best shaft I ever used in my driver.

I couldn't resist the prices ($70 per plus shipping) so I picked up the BF and RF as well, both at 60g R. I tried the BF in the same driver head and hit it well, but not as well as the ZF which gives me a more penetrating trajectory. The BF will get tip trimmed and reinstalled in a FW, as will the RF. Like I said, confirmed Shaft Ho.

But the ZF is my driver shaft for the foreseeable future.

Out of curiosity, why the S grind? What made it a good fit for you?

The thinner sole has always worked best for me. I used to chip in an unusual amount of times with the Hogan Ft Worth 15’s. My best wedges were the original Spin Mills before they had a bunch of different grinds. My last wedges were the M Grind and didn’t really know any better.

I gamed these today and had 4 tap-ins and 2 hole-outs. Sure I hit some too hard or soft but perfect contact every time. I don’t play the Ft Worth 15’s anymore because they have the sweet spot of a gnat. But they were great around the green.

I wasn't referring to the shaft in my Sacks Parente.   I have tried the Accra, TPT, BGT, UST, PXG, Kinetixx, KBS, LA Golf, and VA Composite graphite shafts.  They each have different feels.  I guess it depends on what you call "dramatic change";  on Puttlab, there were noticeable differences but  you couldn't necessarily feel the difference.   Usually when people post performance differences they are  very close and they come when looking at longer putts.

I finally got all my stuff in... and needed to make some changes...

Driver: Callaway Ai Smoke Max 10.5*, Project X Denali 6.0 60g instead of the Ventus Blue 6-S Velo Core... (250-270)

Woods: Callaway Ai Smoke 3W (230-250), Callaway Ai Smoke 5W (210-220), Project X Denali 6.0 70g instead of Hzrdus Black 6.0 / 6.5

Irons: Mizuno MP 245 (5i thru GW) (120-220), NS Pro Modus Tour 120X... I got the 4i as well but currently, crushing the 5i so well I needed to fill the bottom of the bag...

Wedges: Titleist Vokey SM10 52.08F (110-120), 56.12S (90-100), 60.14K Grind... Crazy, that I'm carrying five wedges but the Gap Wedge is 48* and it covers that 120 to 130 number... so I needed to add Wedges for 120 and down...

So we will see how it goes, going forward and keep everyone updated...

Bought The Three Releases by Dan Grieve after a few horrendous rounds of chipping. I've been watching his videos after being encouraged to buy @cnosil during the Kingsmill trip.

Dan's book and videos are fantastic. I'm on my second read through after a few rounds where my chipping hasn't been great and I'm ending up with longer putts than I should be.  Greenside chipping was a strength of mine for most of this year, so I'll be getting down to the practice range and chipping greens soon.

Enjoy the book!

That makes sense and I was more accurate on long putts which would make sense as thats where the torque would come into play most. Thanks for clarifying.

The design is reminiscent of a famous Hokusai print known as "The Great Wave" (actual title is "Under the Wave off Kanagawa"). I love stuff like this, I think it looks really classy. I have Rose & Fire embroidered headcovers - Japanese Dragon for my driver, Fire Dragons for my FW and hybrid. And I recently picked up a Reinland "Shibori" putter cover, keeping to the Japanese/Asian theme (I'm actually Chinese but there aren't many Chinese-specific golf accessory designs out there).

Didn’t buy but did take advantage of the PGA Super Store 90 day trial. I just did t have much luck with the TW grind 56* wedge. So I traded it in for a Titleist Vokey SM 10 56* to match my other wedges. I’m so glad I did. I can open the face and hit my flop shots again. Not knocking the MG4 TM wedge, just wasn’t for me. Immediately hit my shots with the SM 10 56* wedge.

I could play golf every day and learn something new each time.

Last purchase is a set of used Garmin CT 10 sensors to equip all my clubs in the bag. With them, I'll receive a Garmin s60 watch that I'll compare with my current s42. Let's see which watch is the most handy to use. 😅
