I hadn't checked in a few weeks. So, I scooped up five dozen to add to the remaining two dozen in my basement for next season. Price isn't quite as good as it once was, and there's shipping now, but altogether with tax they came out to $34.55/dozen. Still tough to beat. I wanted to give the yellow Maxfli Tour X's a shot following my great success during my review of them, but they still have not come in stock. Since I was on a mini spending spree, I hopped over to Costco and grabbed eight more Kirkland gloves. Again, pricing has increased slightly, but at $7.51/each delivered I can't buy a better glove anywhere else. Argh! Just missed Snell’s restocking of their shelves … ordered 5 boxes of Vice Pros earlier this week. The recent MGS ball test left my impressed with Vice’s improvements on their golf balls. NRJyzr
Yesterday, I doubled down on my Fuji Pro iron shaft testing by ordering a 95i Tour Spec in stiff. I'll plug it in to one of the other heads in the set I'm using for testing; another clubhead has a 115i Tour Spec stiff. We'll have a shaft weightathon. Also scored another three GripMaster Roo grips, and a light blue leather putter grip for my lovely spouse (so I can reclaim the lime green leather on the putter she's been using). I was really impressed with the Tour Soft last year and after the MGS ball test, combing through the data I was surprised that the Tour Speed checks A LOT of boxes of what I am looking for (low driver spin, long, enough iron check). I wish that the side stamp for Tour Speed was the same as the Tour Soft, I loved it- really clean looking. The Tour Speed side stamp looks kind of tacky and gimmicky to me but I will certainly get over it if it performs! Popular Post dlow206
My first belt sander, just arrived today, haven't even put it in the garage yet. Its a Kalamazoo 42 X 1 belt sander, made in the USA. The motor is a Baldor motor, also made in the USA, and a pretty high end motor. Pretty sure Mitchell used to use Baldor motors in the belt sanders they sold, but then moved to some sort of cheaper motors. Popular Post dlow206
A slightly amusing story, and reflective of why I am a member of the CHA. The club builder who is building my set of T300 irons (they wouldn't let me buy the component heads) called me today to say they were starting to build my set but they were out of stock of a Nippon 950gh wedge shaft and asked what I wanted to do. I told them that I had an extra uncut Nippon 950gh wedge shaft and that i would bring it down to them right away. Problem solved. sirchunksalot, KC Golf, cksurfdude and 13 others 10 2 4 Quote Follow my golf journey to break into the 80s Tester for the Titleist TSi Driver Spring 2020 MGS Tester for the Fujikura Motore X Shaft Updated 07/15/2022 Driver: Rogue St Max LS - Autoflex Fairway Woods: Rogue Max St 3HL and 7 Wood Irons: JPX 921 Hot Metal 5 to AW - Aerotech Steelfiber i95 Stiff parallel tip Wedges: Glide 4.0 54 and 58 Putter: PLD Custom Kushin
