Just getting into this thread again so sorry for the delay.

Achasta is good as it is a what you see is what you get course and does not hide much.

Let's look at 13-17 and 21-24. After that we do the first aeration of the year.

Milton/Cumming/Alpharetta area.  Home course is Milton Country Club, but frequent Echelon, Crooked Creek, The Manor & Trophy Club as all are within 5 miles of home.

Looks like our first annual old coots spring gethering will take place February 13th & 14. It will be just four us at this wingding and maybe we can put on a Fall outing to include more folks. Myself, DawgDaddy, Lefty78, and our gracious host, Big Canoe will be kicking off the first official MGS golf outing for 2017...

Just saying for those looking for some Georgia action in the spring, I will be hosting a gethering at my home course which is Lane Creek! More info to come about that as plans progress... I'm hoping at least 12 can attend this one . 🏌️

Once the grass turns green,,,,, I think we should get at least one more player and make a Fri - Sun fun type mini outing wingding!  .  Heck if you guys had rather go during the week we can plan that too.  It would be less crowded doing a Wed - Fri? 

 

I love the fact that they have a lodge and restaurant right on site!

Hey, anything cooking down at LC?  We started to green up a little then that cold last week just kicked us back to middle of winter with punched greens and brown grass. I wouldn't mind a little road trip for a change of scenery in the next week or two.

Hopefully it's just a sore meniscus and not bone on bone. It doesn't feel too good right now so you will have to bear with me tomorrow.

Sounds like my game and your game are in the same place but my new knee is great now, still healing but 1001% better than it's been in a long time.  Great time to get out of town, storms Tuesday wrecked our course (16 trees down and lots of debris)

Dang buddy sounds like you all caught the blunt of the storm. It was nasty here too but fortunately no damage at home or Lane Creek. The course is in good shape and we'll have a great time for sure.
