Yeah, we are going to add it in to our counter offer if they lowball me or maybe even if they offer full price, we go back with a bit lower and.. would you rent it back to us.

I was not expecting this. It was on the market all last year with no bites. 1 official week on the market and it could be gone.

Bittersweet but happy - we spent today dropping our oldest daughter off at OSU for her sophomore year. Much fewer tears and anxiety this year.

Not looking forward to that myself. My oldest daughter is 12 right now... it will be here way too soon. Good thing is, she wants to be a Chef so hopefully I can talk her into the Culinary Institute of America in Napa, California so I can come visit and play some good golf while mom and her do their thing.

It definitely happens way too fast. This time next year or "baby" will be starting college too.

It will be every 2 years for us. I'm sure we will have at least one join the military, and one decide to do nothing. So 3 in college at the same time a few years apart.

I was the roulette croupier at our union fundraisers, Always. Hated that job.

They didn't make as much money as they should have due to the generous number of free drink tickets that the volunteers,

usually  plant and office union reps and their spouses or significant others,

always got.

Then, after closing, the Chinese food would arrive.

When I was young, I'd get home using the Force.

Local codes made us hire a cop who must have overlooked an awful lot from the people paying for his detail and Chinese food..

The cop wouldn't drink,  of course,  but it's a miracle how much Chinese food he could eat after all of that coffee and donuts he went through just hanging around..

He was there late, after closing, because he had to accompany the proceeds to the night deposit vault.

Anyway, how could you not love big, red faced Mick cops from Massachusetts?  Somebody has to keep the stereotypes alive, right?  Bless their hearts.

A bit more responsibility came with maturity, thankfully.

That's when you start worrying about the young ones like you used to be.

And then you know that it's getting close to retirement time.

First 2 years dropping them off is tough, Junior year much easier, Senior is real easy!!

Seriously everyone misses their kids but it's great when they get out on their own and do well then you know you did a good job

I remember those days very well, although they were a while ago, now.

Also renting vans as she moved from one Boston apartment to another.

That probably did my back some good as well.

Love Bauston's finest. We have quite a few retired Bauston cops and Staties in the Nation. One of my retired cop friends here (FL) was shot in the face years ago in Hartford. Good guy, lucky to be alive.

Man do I love concerts. The one band that was a supporting act was the main reason I went I've seen the headliner 4 times before, great band, but had to see this band I really like live. And they freaking nailed it so much energy and everything it made me enjoy punk shows again.

One of our daughters always was in love with Australia. Well she finagled it and did her junior year at University of Wollongong. A lifetime experience. Had to buy my other daughter a car as compensation. Expensive year.
