Camille Bissarro
Thus far it's been a toss up between the FJ DryJoy Tour and Adidas 360 Tour Boost. I walk mostly, and the Adidas are the most comfortable shoes underfoot, but kinda ugly too, at least to my eye. The DJTs are not as cushy, but the stability and aesthetics are better. I had a pair of FJ Icon MyJoys for a little while this fall (see below). They were pretty comfortable underfoot, but the shoe proved too wide in the end, and I returned them. However--and I realize beauty is in the eye of the beholder--they looked boss indeed: biggerwoody6, JChurch and KenBender 3 Quote Callaway Epic Speed + Mitsubishi MMT TaylorMade SIM Titanium + Mitsubishi Tensei AV Raw Blue Titleist U510 20* + Paderson Kinetixx Ballistic Mizuno 919 Forged + Paderson Kinetixx TS-I Cleveland CBX2 54*, Vokey SM8 58* TaylorMade Spider Tour Black Pro V1

Vs are too tall for me to golf in, I returned them after some shadow swings in the living room. XI lows probably the only J that has transitioned into golf with any reasonable level of execution. The Jordan releases just never seem to get it right for me. Either the execution is bad, or they do something dumb with the colorway to stray away from the OG, it's weird. Sole swaps always look like buttcheeks, but for people who don't care about it being the way it's supposed to be, just with soft spikes or the spikeless golf sole, I guess it works. I've been wearing J's since I was a kid begging my mom for them in '96 and I collect them for the nostalgia, so when it's not the same, it's a miss for me. Black Cement IIIs are probably the only pair that I really want to be released by Jordan Golf. AM 1's/90's and Roshes are probably the only really impressive Nike sneaker-turned-golf for me. HardcoreLooper
I'm addicted to the old Adidas Adipower 4orged. I've been known to pick them up on eBay. I'm not a sneakerhead by any means, but I was in a Goodwill auction for a pair of Golf le Fleur One Stars and got out around $150. They went for well over $200. Middler
I've always worn classic FJ spiked shoes, but I tried the Adidas CodeChaos spikeless last year and I don't want to wear anything else. Surprisingly stable, good traction (even when it's wet), dry and comfortable (I've walked 18 in them many times). I liked them so much I bought the same shoe in a different color. Boost is the bomb, my running/walking shoes are also Adidas with Boost midsoles. Adidas has moved on to other models/styles, but I'd buy the latest model CodeChaos 21s if I was buying. JimP
I'm a walker 90+% of the time, and I've settled on TRUE's, for now. Original 1.2's for full rounds - snug instep and good heel-lock, plenty of toe room. Issue for some people is the "zero-drop", but I like the level feel and stability/balance. No traction problems. Will use the TRUE Knit IIs for a casual 9-holes, or if I need a break on an 18+ day. They do not have as much lateral stability, and a slight transitional drop, but extremely comfortable. I have a few other TRUE models but these are the favorites. Waiting on a pair of the new "Sport" line - somewhat a blend of the two models. I've tried FJ, Nike, ECCO, Athalonz, and the new Paynter. And I wear custom insoles (SOLE) in all/any. Sirris
I do not know what they are in terms of comfort, but they look very cool. It seems that I would wear these all the time, but I don't want to buy a new pair of shoes yet. Last week, my long-awaited adidas yeezy arrived for me, and I think I will only wear them shortly. Although your option will obviously be next on my list, I do not know how to find such for the order. chisag
... Is there anything more personal in golf than shoes? We have a more varied walk than we have varied golf swings. Comfort followed closely by support are the most important factors for my golf shoe choice. I have found some cushiony shoes that were instantly comfortable, provided too little support and more importantly the cushioning broke down within a year. I walk 95% of the time and Ecco Biom Hybrid 3's were the first shoes that were comfortable right out of the box, provided excellent support and do not break down after several years.
