Kirkland Signature KS2 Putter

To Me it looks very Hum Drum, like it just came off the shelf at Play it Again Sports. Nothing special that catches the eye.

I don't do Costco (or any of the similar places like Sam's Club either), but how the putter looks doesn't bother me. If I made a bunch of 20-footers with it and it was affordable, it would look bee-you-tiful to me. My current gamer isn't a thing of beauty either.

It reminds me of the LAB putter which I got to use yesterday. Really thick looking. 
 

Might be worth buying one right before they get another lawsuit.

It looks like they ran out of time designing it before the plans had to go to the shop to get made. Major let down compared to the KS1 blade, which from all accounts was brilliant.

I’m not sure what you guys don’t like about the KS2.  It looks perfect for a meat tenderizer!

While looks aren't everything,  there is something to be said for designing a little bit of flair into a putter. The block front with the angled wings is just off balance to me when I look at it.

I feel like a 4th grade class was told to design a putter after just watching star trek.

Surprised some may be though when it performs well.  As I have learned,  anything is possible.

I agree, something is just off about the looks of this putter! Too bad. I’m going to see it all over the place though. I see so many of the other Kirkland blade (ks1?) putters around it’s wild.

It looks very dated and/or unfinished to me. Needs a bit of refinement.

While it may not be appealing to the eye of many I wouldn't care if it had rust all over it if it rolled every putt in the hole. Lol

I have seen putters that looked worse and I would game it but I'm loving the Ai-one Jailbird mini at the moment.

Kirkland Signature logo is always a no for me

Even if somehow this was a magical putter  for me… I’d replace it with something else same L/L/L/weight/shape just cause it’s fugly.

At first I thought this was an AI fake. I still think its possibly a fake. I feel like MGS would have reported on a KS2 being on the USGA conforming list.

If its real, probably just a prototype because the fit & finish don't appear as strong as Costco typically expects. I understand the knock on it being a store brand, but this isn't the generic off-brand weak quality. Costco has crazy standards for K Sig products. Like paying Starbucks to roast their coffee instead of some other brand that would have the capacity.

The dings and scratches also make me think this is a prototype that was misplaced or passed around. 

 

Anyone understand the point of the screws on the wings? I have a batwing style putter but its all one piece and I don't recall any having moveable wings.

The OP is a MGS moderator/staff member

The PXG Bat Attack putters had removable wings.  And they had different weights.

My guess it's how they are attached to the main body (from looking at this pic) and may also provide future opportunities to use different colors/weights)
