I wish I would have thought of that. Instead, I have the one that was made for me in 2014 after I made up some song or limerick about something. I don’t even remember. It was part of the “Distinguished Gentleman’s” thread.

Been going through all of the data from the fitting that Jon Sinclair sent to me and a few things really stand out. 

The main difference I saw with the TPT Power Range 18 LO driver shaft in my fitting is tighter dispersion.  There was a slight increase in total yardage as well.

Wish I had taken pictures of the face impact heat maps, because that really told a compelling story about what was going on.

The impact location on the face of the driver head when using the TPT shaft was extremely consistent.  This is what led me to a slight increase in efficiency/smash factor, more yardage and much tighter dispersion.

The only thing that stands out from my fitting is that I suck! Well, the TPT was 20 more yards, but my left shoulder was low and hitting down on it. I’ve been working on that the last couple of days, while it rained and am about to put on my waders and go play some mud ball. I don’t think I need major changes, just some set up tweaks. That minor flaw has created major negative effects in the swing. I did speak briefly with Jon during the others fitting.

Update. My back has been sore for a few days, so I only played 11 holes, but drove the ball great (3/4 speed). All high and down the middle.  I didn’t want to screw it up just before the shafts arrived. Very promising swing (set up) change. Very Bryson DeChambeau except slow motion.

I tested for patience, and it turns out that I'm negative.

I took my clubs to Dallas today just in case he called and said the shafts were here. I wanted to have them available.

Just heard from Jon and appears my grips are lost in the ozone... Thank you USPS!!

Waiting to hear back if he will be there tomorrow and if so I will go purchase them tonight and deliver tomorrow morning.

Just spoke with Jon and will be delivering my grips in the morning and should be bringing them home with me.

Saturday will be first range session. SWMBO has agreed to let me have the time...

I finally made it home, but after my 6 hour 80 mile drive, I didn’t feel much like going to the range. The good news is I will be there early tomorrow and playing tomorrow. 
 

I just ordered a new weight for my hybrid. It has a 10g in it, and Jon said said I needed a 4g instead of the standard 10, and a 10g in my 3 wood instead of the 12g in that. Luckily, I can move a hybrid 10g to the 3w.

YES! Shafts are in the bag! Tomorrow will be maiden range session to get acquainted.

Have to find a source and order new clubhead weights for the 3 wood and hybrid to bring the swing weight up. The additional weight of the Tour Velvet +4, approx. 10.5 grams, has a significant impact on swing weight. Should arrive early next week. I have reached out to Titleist to see what their process is as reviews of the weights offered on Amazon leave me suspect of their quality. PGASS doesn't carry them and GolfWorks is out of stock on the 15g weights...

Until I can source the proper weights, I'll layer up some lead tape to start get the process started. 

I'll post some pictures tomorrow when the sun is hopefully shining, and the wind has moved back up to @Erin B in Wyoming...

Before I started sticking ugly lead tape on my clubs I would order them on eBay. You mentioned “quality”. It’s a weight that goes on with a screw. I’m curious what the issue is with the weight. Does the 4g weigh 4lbs? I ordered mine on eBay for $13.  If it doesn’t fit or weigh what it’s supposed to, I can send it back, or throw it in the trash.

@RoverRick Quite a few complaints of the screw not being machined properly and won't tighten or locks up the threads. A gram here or there of weight is not a big deal but screwing up a threaded insert is!

I will check out eBay and see what they have.

Also, Lead tape is temporary.

Maiden voyage today for me with the shafts. It didn’t start out very well. 58-38. The shafts feel way different than I am used to. The first drive was great, but into a 30mph wind. The next 3 were horrible. I didn’t like the feel. Same with the fairway and hybrid. 

It’s very much a “me getting used to it.” The front 9, I was all over the course. I got used to it as the round wore on. My good hits were better than my AD DI shafts, but my bad hits were worse. I will refrain from saying too much about them. It was my first complete round in a 10 or so days because of back issues. 

I eventually discovered I needed to make an aggressive swing to get the most out of them, and honestly, I was concerned about aggressive swings and my back today. No back issues today. And 2 of my 6 doubles on the front had nothing to do with these 3 clubs.

The Ping screws are held on with o-rings, so that’s not an issue with them. Not familiar with Titleist at all. 917D3 was my last Titleist driver.

Titleist screws are molded into the weight, so they are one unit.

I learned today that the G425 and G430 weights are slightly different. Enough that my plan on using the hybrid weight in the fairway metal will not work. It would if they were both 425’s or 430’s. They are both the same General shape but the screws are offset.

Overall, I would say that shots with all 3 shafts are better than before, but still a work in progress.
