Another inconsistent round this week.  It has been a while since I felt great about my play. Putting was pretty good with newly plugged and sanded greens, Just not striking the ball well.

Kind of a ho-hum day on the course. Was able to get out after my loop so legs were a little tired but the real weakness was putting. Had another round where nothing was dropping but I was missing close. 6 bogeys and 12 pars with 1 net birdie. Can’t really complain but it’s frustrating doing so many things well but just can’t score. Play again tomorrow so hopefully I can piece it all together.

Just not hitting the ball great this week with my irons. Also regressed slightly on my short game.

still I managed to fit in 18 holes of golf this week after not getting any rounds in last week. So overall a great week.

Front 9: had a solid 2-5 but then struggled on 6-9.

Back 9: a bit more consistency than the front 9 but nothing noteworthy.

Another good round to start closing summer.  One stroke off my PB and will count towards my handicap, so not complaining.  I may still get down to 36 before the season ends.  Two months to go.

Had a pretty decent driving round, and the irons were solid.  Hit a good number of fairways, but didn't keep track.  Maybe half?  Hit all of the par 3 greens but one, and that one I used my 4-wood. The last one was with my 4-iron, another testament to the New Level 480 series long irons being very playable.  I love using the 4i off the tee now.

Had a few flubbed shots close to the greens.  Putting was way off today, was a real struggle to feel the lines and had to concentrate really hard to get them. Until I figured out how I was failing I was pushing and pulling a ton.  Not sure what my major malfunction was caused by.  That probably what was keeping me from getting closer to 100.

Played from the whites.  Phone met a tragic end at the range before the round, so had to use paper.  Long drive distance estimated from Google Maps to where I remember shots landing, ShotScope will tell me later when I get a new unit.  But 10 net birdies on a "low" score spells a good trend!

Found the score import for TheGrint, so got a normal screen shot of my scorecard.  Mostly reconstructed FW hits and putts, but think it's pretty accurate.  5 3-putts and 2 4-putts will make a golf ball sized dent in your scorecard.  Clean that up and I'm hitting two digits!

As good as I’ve ever hit the ball for a full round. Only downside was 37 putts but that included 5 putts that lipped out. Don’t think I hit a putt longer than 4 feetIMG_2659.jpeg.9e93615597868d11fbaf843421c7b1d7.jpegIMG_2683.png.235bb319d8bd078628aea04654d7b96e.png

Nothing beats a great twilight round either. Only so many of these left for Michigan Golf Season but it’s been a good one!
