Just out hitting some clubs

So I asked my wife yesterday where she would like to go, she said she didn't care, so we ended up at Golfsmith, we weren't buying anything, but they had some different LH drivers that I hadn't hit yet, as well as some that I hadn't, so I hit the M1, 460cc, I didn't like it, maybe if they get the 430 version it might be better, I hit ping G30, decent, I had hit this one before, carry to 260, roll out to 275 ish, occasionally a bit longer but not much, I hit the M1 a couple more times, again, it was set for lowest CG, lowest loft, it just came out way to high, spin was up in the 3000's. Then I saw they had the double black diamond callaway, it had a 60g, x-flex shaft stock, I thought I would hit it, previously I had tried the Bertha alpha, and couldn't hit it out of a paper sack, but this setup on the DBD was sick, I was by myself, nothing was changed in the settings, but I was carrying 275-280, rolling out to 295 pretty consistently, one even rolled out to 315, with a couple 310 mixed in. I was surprised that I hit it that well. I don't plan I purchasing, but.....

Anyway there really is no point to this, just general thoughts, and maybe a plug for just don't have any preconceived notions on clubs that are our there, just grab some and swing, you never know what you might find. I currently game the x2hot pro, and I hit that so well that I won't be looking anytime soon, but the numbers from the DBD are very interesting,

I wasn't a fan of the M1 either. I have wanted to try the DBD but haven't hit it yet. May have to give it a shot. Sounds like it fit you well!

The double black diamond is the best Callaway driver I've ever swung. It was long and easy to hit but not enough to take my TourEdge out so I didn't buy it but very nice regardless.

No plans to buy yet. Eventually I may take the x2hot and hit the 2 side by side.

I didn't get a chance to try it for more than a couple of swings. But too happy with this R15 set up I shouldn't try anything else haha.

That x2hot had been one of the best feeling callaway drivers imo

The DBD was a huge step up over the Alpha. Still have the Alpha in the basement and just could never get comfortable with it. Plan on picking up a DBD head once the prices plummet.
