Getting fitted for a new driver tomorrow. Per the great advice received here, I'm going to hit the Stealth and the Sim2 to figure out if the extra $300 for the Stealth is money well spent. I'll report back with results.

... Just to be sure, hit the Stealth2. There is little reason to change from a Sim2 to a Stealth at the same price so another $300 is just wasted $ imo. But the Stealth2 is an improvement that may or may not be better than the Sim2. Good luck with the fitting!

It came quicker than I was expecting. 

Super excited to go use it. Unfortunately probably won’t get to play a round for a bit but can probably get to the range with my son this weekend.

I did look at some of the others and I’m not sure I’m in a position to say GolfShot is necessarily better, but MGS was pretty effusive in their praise (https://mygolfspy.com/news-opinion/partner-content/golfshot-golf-gps-app-another-app-upping-its-game/).  And, if it can give me Strokes Gained and max out the utility of the watch I’m happy.

1. PXG 0311 XF Gen 5 10.5* driver with Cypher 40 gram Senior shaft.

2. A new cap from Lamkin, won on instagram

3. Polo shirt and cap with UK on them, in charcoal grey. Ready for tonight’s game UK v Georgia.

Nice Foz! Just fyi had the same PXG driver with a similar shaft, and liked it .. until I got picked for the Paradym X test. Good luck with it!!

Last week I told everyone I wanted to fill out a backup bag after the bag drop guys packed my bag with those of a travel group and I couldn’t play for 16 days.

I picked up a set of Halo hybrid irons for a good price on eBay but when I opened the box, I was kind of underwhelmed at the thought of playing them.

Problem solved… today I stumbled upon a brand new set of Apex DCBs 6-AW with the Recoil Dart shafts for only $675 which is $500 cheaper than they’re going for in stores. Thankfully, I hadn’t unwrapped the Halos… they were returned this afternoon.

Bought 2 Mizuno hybrids, one is a Fli hi hybrid head but 6iron spec's length etc but easier to hit. I really wanted the Fli hi 4 iron to replace my long irons but with incorrect instructions from the seller lost it, so I bought a Mizuno Clk 4 hybrid with adapter and if I like the 6 Fli hi I will look for the 4 fli hi.

Anyone using the same Mizuno fli hi irons and getting good results or prefer the real iron??

Great deal! And nice you were able to return the others on eBay, too.

The 7i in my practice bag is a DCB with a Recoil Dart - love it - love the feel of the forged head and the shaft works great for me .. but I needed something a little more GI for my gamer set.

I felt kinda bad about returning the Halos, because I got the 5-DW from Hurricane Golf (the Sub 70 guys) brand new for $470 which was another great deal, but when I saw the DCB listing I ran over to the PGASS and compared the two… like @ole gray said, the DCB’s are no joke… beautiful looking iron also.

I absolutely love my E722’s, they’ve been everything I want from an iron, so it will be a fun head to head to see which set becomes my Myrle Beach gamer, and which one goes into my backup “Long Island” bag!

Was I supposed to know that there are two different types of softspikes? Getting ready for tomorrow's round at Bulle Rock and was putting in the new softspikes I bought at Dick's that are different from every other softspikes I've ever bought. It's NBD cause I'm not playing until 12:48pm, but still very annoying.

The Gen 5 drfiver sale for Veterans was so good I almost bought 1 for a spare even though I dont even need a driver. The dude hooks up the military and vets better than anyone, fact.

Bought a Gen 5 for my wife. She hit the Gen 6 MUCH better than her current gamer, so we thought at these prices with the ID.me verification, why not?

Just grabbed the head for 200 and a new hzrdus black hand crafted for $39

Also just lucked out of this Adams driver for $110 and Ill use A Motore F1 shaft I got for $40 replacing the stock womans shaft. Also contacted Adams and for a headcover and they sent me one no charge.

My favorite style is the midsize Matador grip from Scotty Cameron, other are making a matador grip now so its going to be cheaper for sure. I will still probably spring for a Scotty grip on a Scotty putter but anything else will get a cheaper option. I do want to try one of the sweet rollz grips some time.
