The Mizuno ST-X is on the way. Local guy about 40 minutes from me is a Mizuno component dealer. Sent him a message and he put together a new head, adapter, and 5g of hot melt forward/neutral for what used full clubs are going for. Just wish I had time to go get it. He is gonna ship it to me since I can’t get over there unfortunately.

My Grandson-in-law wants to play golf, so I found him a starter set today at Goodwill.  He is in his late 20’s and needs steel shafts….

4-AW steel shafted B6 Heater (look like Diablo tour knockoffs)

18* Driving iron, 3W & 9* Driver from Warrior Custom Golf.

All clubs were in almost brand new condition @ $3.98 per club.  So for less than $50 I got him setup. I’ll give him a bag, all he needs is a putter.

Just ordered two boxes of the Kirkland Signature 3-piece V2.0 Urethane Cover Golf Ball.
Also while looking through the basement I found 2 dozen of the original 4 piece Kirkland Signature golf ball. I thought I lost them in the move from Seattle a few years ago. Not sure I’m ready to lose them on the course just yet.

picked up this like-new Sik DW with a stability tour shaft for a great deal. 

i rolled a few at the range today and it feels great. gonna play a round with it tomorrow before i send it out to be cut down to 32”, swing weighted, and regripped

Here's my latest purchases - only hope they make a difference; so far so good.

The Puttout is a great tool for dialing in your stroke or for me looking to see which putter will stay in the bag. The Shotscope V3 is just because I'm a data geek - working on my gaps and yardages, seeing where I need to work harder or what is working good.

Boy do I wish I could have found a way to go get it.  Not sure how it takes 4 days to go 40 miles but it won’t be here until Monday.

After a deep dive, lots of reading and comparative analysis I pulled the trigger on a SIM2 with a Tensei 1k White 60x.  Of all the sources, TXG's YouTube videos were profoundly helpful.  I wish I had been a viewer much sooner as Ian shares a very similar swing and profile.  I was fascinated by how many are choosing the 50x over the 60 and frankly, I gave it some thought but the gross weight just wouldn't do it for me; the 60 was as low as I wanted to go.  So it should be here in about a week...Photos when it arrives...

I do love that channel and they share a lot of great information about club fitting and clubs in general. Definitely has increased my knowledge.

yesterday a golf club sized package arrived at m6 house.  It was from Patriot Golf.  I ordered their Fathers Day package.  A cap, a ball marker with hat clip, a sleeve of Cut Red balls and a #7 fairway wood.  All of this for just $32 shipping.  No extra fees or commitments.

The cap is black(bad for summer) and does not fit well. The ball marker does not have enough strength to stay on the clip.  The Fairway wood (#7) is the same style as the Taylormade Rocketballz 2 design.  I know it’s old, but wanted to try it.  I got to hit it today on the range(pre round) and was somewhat surprised at the performance. The launch was mid to high straight and dec3nt distance.

 

Then, before I could try it on the course, we got dumped on from the sky on the 5th hole. We got soaked and quit.

Anyway, I need to check into an anti-golf-equipment group for therapy.......anybody have suggestions?

You can send me all the clubs that are causing you any feelings of distress no questions asked. Second, you should look for a sponsor to help you whenever you need some advise/guidance. For example, my Wife is my sponsor. Whenever she sees that I am on any troubling sites like RockBottomGolf, CallowayGolfPreowned, GolfWorks, eBay etc. She talks me down and tells me to think about my loved ones... Usually my wallet. Feel free to message me anytime.

The Speedzone Hybrid will be trying to retain its spot against this lovely TSi3. 

Sort of going in blind, but it was too good of a deal and if it doesn’t work for me or @Lacassem it will find a new home. 

Nice buy,  I don't like the Speedzone's chances here...you're going to be able to tweak and dial in that adjustable TSi3 and not have to worry about the hybrid lefts anymore!
