Love this. Has me motivated to look into building a mallet to my own design and specs and see how it performs. Time to do some digging.

@nc23nick if you trust feel you can improve with new clubs, then go for it!

But since you mentioned slices and hooks, perhaps using some of that potential purchase towards a couple of lessons for driver and some lessons for irons?

New clubs may not be the answer.  Or split the difference, get a new driver that can be adjusted to your needs, and lessons on all the clubs to gain some insight to your issues.

Welcome to MGS,  glad to have ya aboard!

Asking a group of golfers if you should get new clubs is like asking a dog if they want walkies 😂😂

For the record I tell my dog it's time for a walk and she runs and hides from me and the leash! After 3 years I finally started saying you want to go for a walk when she misbehaves and she stops in tracks now.

First world industry problems... last Friday I see a rep that I don't see often and mention their putters after I used one off the rack for a putting contest and did very well with it. Made 5 of 6 including last 4 in a row from 12/13 feet.

He says here give me your info and fill this out. And now less than a week later I have one of these on the way for a price I couldn't pass up. These reps know I'm weak and like new shiny things.

Ok so we did it , we upgraded the irons. I had to travel a couple hours to go get them but we found a set of lefty Calloway Fusion wide soles at a price I could accept . Excited to hit the range and see what happens next. I've gotten the handicap down to 16 I am ready for single digits.

Took my Vice cart bag to the Luggage Service Center  in Tampa yesterday.  That’s where the airlines send your damaged luggage for warranty work. Anyway I had two broken zippers to be repaired. Cost was $75. This was the 4th golf bag I have had repaired by them over the years.
