We have a rant thread and a random thread, but I could not find a happy thread... until now.

 

I'm trying to share my excitement about being off of work for two weeks! It actually started today, so that's 18 days without work. Woo! Got a wedding this weekend, small hiking vacation in Arkansas next week, then plenty of golf the final week. Here's to hoping it goes by real slooooow.

Bought our backpacks for our trip to Thailand next September last night!! Also having Thanksgiving a week early, cause I'm outta town for work. Cramming my face with turkey and stuffing tonight 😀

I'm happy I made it through surgery yesterday. But, not real happy with the pain at the moment...but, I have oxy and valium, so there's that.

Spent the last week with my son playing golf and just having a good time. Back to reality next Wednesday, but until then relax and enjoy.

I'm happy to have joined Ole Gray, his wife Kelly Bo and there lovely friend Melanie for a round at their home course.

 

Great company, lots of laughs and some pretty decent golf for me coming off two horrible rounds at TPC Sawgrass

I got some great customer service today from my Toyota dealer. We took it in for a recall and they were able to work with us on price for an oil change/rotation. Works out perfect because we had an appointment for that tomorrow and I really didn't want to deal with shops 2 days in a row leading up to our first road trip with the girls.

 

Score one for the dealer! My MIL had bad experiences with them in the past so I'm happy I gave them a shot anyway.

I am Happy because I shot a 40/40:80 yesterday with an Eagle on #10.......60 yard sand wedge Hole shot! Just one bounce then rolled into the Hole!.....and I won $102!

I am happy because I just finished packing my bags for a two day golf trip to Orlando.  SWMBO is not so thrilled that Day 2 of the trip is our 16th wedding anniversary so thinking this trip may cost me a few shekels.

The rain held off enough to make the hike to one of the best views in the Ozarks. 10/10, would recommend.

Have to add...I pooped again today!

 

And it was nothing like the other night, no screaming and crying but it was still quite painful. Laid down in a hot bath afterwards, took an oxy and it's settling down.

 

TMI I know, but I'm happy.
