Best Spiked Shoes of 2020...UA!!

MGS posted their 2020 shoe ratings.  The Adidas shoe took the top spot again, but how about Under Armour?!  As a UA fanboy I'm pretty excited to see UA shoes do so well, especially thumping Nike and FJ options.

Personally I own a pair of Spieth 2s and Spieth 3s and while they work for me and I really like them, I can see the knock on them of being a bit narrow.  Need to get some HOVRs now....

I’ve always liked the look of the UA golf shoes, but they have not been cushioned enough for my taste. I’ll try some on to see if they’ve improved, but $170-$200 for golf shoes is too much for me to pay. I’d have to wait for deep discounts. Having so many pair in the rankings, it sure means I should check them out.

Spieth 3's were heavily discounted after disappointing sales.  Not surprising given how much he has struggled lately.  I'm sure UA is hoping he has sorted it out during this layoff. I'll bet you'll be able to get a deal in the fall, even if he does start playing well again.

I love the Hovr running shoes I have, and until they finally added the tech to the golf shoes recently, I always wondered why they avoided it when Adidas uses Boost, and Nike uses the various Air systems.

I'm intrigued by the New Balance offerings but will likely stick to the tried and true Adidas 360's.  I had the Spieth 2's but they weren't nearly as comfortable as the Adidas.  I haven't found anything to rival the "Boost" technology in Adidas shoes.

I got the speith 3's for $40-50 bucks. It was too good to pass up. The only thing I dont like is the fabric they have on the toe and heel. It's nice for the flex, but I think it's definitely going to be hard to keep clean.

It is, annoys the hell out of me.  I bought those and a pair for FJ Fury's with a fabric toe and have learned no more fabric.

Spieth 4's and the HOVR Match Play's I just picked up are all leather.

And damn...$50?  I thought I saved money when I got mine for $150...

Yeah it was on carls golf land. They happened to have a hot deal on them and even though I didn't need new shoes  and had never tried under armour at that price it was worth a shot.

 

I have sprayed the heck out of my furry's with protectant to hopefully make the mesh easier to clean. We'll see if it pays off
