Good Tuesday morning, everyone.

@Erin B Trusting that all goes well today.

Standing on the tee for the dogleg right #3 yesterday I turned to my playing partners and said, “I miss the days when I had a nice, reliable fade.”  Then two things happened:(1) I hit a nice little draw 3-wood through the fairway into deep rough (you knew that was gonna happen), and (2) the rains came with thunder and lightning.  End of round.

Good looking morning.  Already got shopping done for the day so just spending time on the patio with the dog and some coffee.  Hope y’all have a great day!

Good morning spies! Well here in just a little while I will ply the freeways of Phoenix metro area to get to the Chevy dealership for the 4th time to see if they will finally fix my trailer brake issue. This time I am armed with a homemade simulator of brakes, lights, and cable to show them there is a problem in the darn truck.

Yesterday's round with the Wild Bunch...Can you say WIND??!! 

Front nine was  great 2 over par 38 and the wind was there but not bad, maybe 15 mph and pretty steady. The back nine... wait first I have to say I cannot hit a consistent low boring shot. Mine are all high floaters. I struggled all the way to 18 where the wind just beat me. I hit my drive and the wind stood it up and pushed it right. I have an okay lie and 102 yards to clear the pond that borders the right side of the hole. 102 yards means I can use my 50 degree wedge and have a nice flat lie 10 past the water on a windless day. I hit my nine iron right into the teeth of the wind and the ball dropped 3 feet short into the pond. I drop a second ball pull out my seven iron and aim more or less at the green. While the ball is in the air a gust hits me in the chest so hard I stagger back a step. The ball is being push so hard it is halfway there and I can tell already it is going to land in the water. 

Now I am really struggling. It has begun to spit rain. 

I drop yet another ball and, with my 7 iron aim straight across the pond. The ball flies about 110 yards. A full 50+ yards shorter than normal. I post a 9 for that hole. Gad, was I happy to walk off that green and away from the course!

Hope you are all having a wonderful Tuesday. Spent some time at the sim last night, frustrating watching clients bomb drives then not being able to get my old body to do the same LOL, but we will take what we have so long as it's relatively straight and reaching the fairway

Good morning Spies!

Another beautiful day in Chicago as the weather continues to be warm and sunny. I was able to get to the driving range after work last night and it was one of the best range sessions I've had in quite some time. Hoping I can bottle up some of those shots for my next round!

Not much on the agenda today. May try to get back to the range this evening, but we'll see. Cup of coffee in hand and getting caught up on the latest Forum news!

@Erin B best of luck to your wife for a quick and successful surgery!

Good morning everyone!

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Just wanted to drop a quick recap of my golf activities:

• We clinched the 5th place in the team of 4 scramble tournament with a solid -5. Super proud of how the team performed!
• Played a couple of rounds on my own too; scored an 87 on Saturday and a 90 on Sunday. Some ups and downs but overall, a great learning experience.
• Exciting news—I’ve been selected to test the Garmin S70 along with the CT10 sensors! You can check out the announcement and follow my updates on the testing process here: Garmin S70 + CT10 Sensors Test.

Looking forward to an exciting few weeks ahead with the new Garmin gear.

Good morning MGS crew from another dreary and rainy Wisconsin morning. Our baseball game got postponed to Thursday from last night because field conditions were too sloppy, and I have a feeling the game we have scheduled for today will get postponed/cancelled as well. Rain should be stopping sometime this morning, but it was absolutely POURING on my way to work, and one of the fields I drive past was under water. I'm all for getting games in, but not at the expense of it being unenjoyable for the kids. 

Tuesday scramble league is also supposed to kick off today, which I will be missing this week if we do end up playing tonight. If not, my partner and I will try to play, but thunderstorms are forecasted for the area starting between 7-8pm again, so it could prove tough to get through 9 with a 5:30 shotgun start. We will see what happens!

We lost about 9 chickens last night due to a predator getting in the coop. which means now I will build a coop for the chickens to go into at night that they can sleep and be safe in. I think the wife finally sees that is a good idea. Going to finish getting the bigger chicken run done today after work so we can get them in there and out of the one that got broke into. Whatever got in dug by one of the corners, and since the portion that the poles go into on this one aren't a singular piece, they are only tac welded(?) to the portion that has the vertical poles go into it, it broke. Not  fun morning to see that while on your way to work. I got the corner secured now and put a few garden blocks that the previous owners left around the bottom to help keep predators out. My guess is it might have been a raccoon.  Either way, I'm not gonna lose any more chickens. Today, I was gonna go to the range after work but priorities shifted for the day. Hope everyone has a great day.

Some beautiful weather yesterday and for the next couple days. Kids have loving getting out there to enjoy the day.

My son has also gotten into building as we started building our raised garden beds. So every morning he is out there sawing wood, screwing things together. He made a few raised beds of his own and this morning came in with a piece of wood with some corner brackets around the bottom to make a coat hanger.

Work keeps rolling along, though more budget updates are coming in which always makes things a bit more stressful.

Uppa with a cuppa. Summer appears to have arrived in CNY. We got into the upper 80s yesterday. SWMBO, the Environmental Control Officer, decided to turn on the A/C for first time this year to make sleeping more comfortable.

I had a good testing session with Nemo my DF3 putter yesterday. I have a 10am tee time this morning.

Good morning everyone. Started off our day with over 3" of rain before school started and tornado sirens at 5:50 near my house. Not the start I was looking for. Serious flooding all throughout Omaha with some of our students talking about their bedrooms taking on water. This part of town is well known for water issues from heavy rains and if the sump pump isn't strong enough, it won't keep up on a morning like this. To make things worse, we have round two of storms scheduled to pass through around noon and should bring another couple inches of rain. Oh, goody.

On a positive note, tomorrow is the last day with kids! Getting jealous of all you guys making the MGS Forum golf outing here soon. Can't wait to see all the pics of everyone and to read about all the shenanigans. Should be a good time. @sirchunksalotI hope 10 pounds of golf balls ends up being enough. LOL

Good morning Spies from the parking lot at the edge of the Mojave Desert. Today is supposed to be warmer and less windy. That would be nice.

Got in a workout at the hotel after work last night. I completed Phase 1 of my Fit For Golf protocol, which basically means the first month. Starting Phase 2 tomorrow. As usual, I'm feeling the workout this morning, more so because when I get to work at 6:30 a.m. we have to set up everything in the parking lot all over again, and a bunch of it is rather heavy.

Best wishes for @Erin B and his spousal unit.

Envious of those heading for Kingsmill, but the budget only has room for one major golf trip, and that's Scotland. I'm stretching the budget as it is with all these detours through Pinehurst.

Good morning! I've got a burnt cup of hotel coffee and I'm finally able to catch up on the last couple of days of the GMT!

It's a cool, sunny morning here in SLC, UT with a bunch a meetings ahead of me. It's been a good work trip, but I'm ready to be home.

I woke up this morning and it was the 3rd day in a row that my ribs and muscles around the ribs have felt better than the previous day. Hopefully that means that the rest I've been taking is paying dividends!

Good Morning everyone!!  It’s crunch day for me.

We leave in the early AM tomorrow to drive across the country to the 2024 MGS Kingsmill Golf Outing.  Sooooo many things to do before we go.  I’m sure something will get missed… oh well!  It’s one thing to pack for a 2 week trip flying to a warm, dry place in th winter.  You can only take so much with you.  We are taking 5-6 days to get there, so one night stays followed by a 5 night stay; then on the road again!!  

Routing takes up north to Spokane, then east through Idaho and Montana; stopping to see Mt. Rushmore outside Rapid City, SD; on through SD and Iowa to Indianapolis.  After that we have some options depending on friends in the Ohio area before hitting WV and into Virginia.  

I may not be online much, but will try to check in periodically.  Everyone have a terrific Tuesday and the rest of the week.

For those who are interested, the MGS Tester of the Week for the L.A.B. DF3 has been just posted.  In a continuing feature of the L.A.B. DF3 putter testing, we introduced the Tester of the week for the L.A.B. DF3.  Each week we have been highlighting one of the testers. The purpose is to highlight the great work they are doing, but also to get to know them a bit better.   Last week, it was @GolfSpy MPR (link below). This weeks, tester of the week is none other than, some guy named @Cfhandyman  Sorry, but I had to come up eventually.
