Popular Post EasyPutter
Good morning MGSpies from an already light enough for streetlights to be going off downtown Buffalo for the in the office workday. Enjoying my private lounge in the vehicle by the office building with Emancipator's All Through The Night on Pandora and coffee still just able to sip thinking about Jason's @sirchunksalot packing golf bag for the adventure, my trip begins exactly one week from now. Popular Post GolfSpy_APH
Had some thoughts about playing this morning, but rain in the forecast and a later night along with the two little ones sleeping like crap meant I cancelled my morning tee time at 2am. Ended up being a good call as the kids just struggled with their sleep for one reason or another. Was up early with my little girl where she is now crawling around everywhere and anywhere making life... entertaining? Thankfully she crashed soon after and started to watch The Fall Guy... not bad so far. Popular Post ParFore74x
Nothing but thunderstorms here and quite frankly, I’m over it. We didn’t get much snow this past winter and I think that Mother Nature is making up for it. Played 9 after work yesterday and it was a struggle. Unable to locate the greens made for a lot of chipping and that seemed off too. Might be time to rest the shoulder a bit to get things back to normal My daughter’s high school soccer team has a regional game at 4:00 this afternoon, assuming that there will be a long enough break in the weather. Fingers crossed that it isn’t impacted by poor weather and lengthy delays. They’ve been on a hot streak and I’m hoping that they can keep it going. Have a great day spies. We were also on the side overlooking the water so we got to watch boats and seaplanes. She had to walk so we took laps around the atrium. Popular Post Wheelieb
Morning All, @Erin B Hopefully everything goes well and is quick. We lost about 9 chickens last night due to a predator getting in the coop. which means now I will build a coop for the chickens to go into at night that they can sleep and be safe in. I think the wife finally sees that is a good idea. Going to finish getting the bigger chicken run done today after work so we can get them in there and out of the one that got broke into. Whatever got in dug by one of the corners, and since the portion that the poles go into on this one aren't a singular piece, they are only tac welded(?) to the portion that has the vertical poles go into it, it broke. Not fun morning to see that while on your way to work. I got the corner secured now and put a few garden blocks that the previous owners left around the bottom to help keep predators out. My guess is it might have been a raccoon. Either way, I'm not gonna lose any more chickens. Today, I was gonna go to the range after work but priorities shifted for the day. I am officiating a wedding on Sunday, so I thought I would not be able to get any golf in. Au contraire! (Our French speaking friends can correct the spelling!) I will be, and will, get in 18 before I have to be at the venue, and in an even better piece of news, my oldest son is coming to the wedding and is bringing his sticks so he can join me! They live in New Jersey, so we are able to visit and they visit us about once a month, but we've never been able to arrange a tee time.... That ends Sunday! Took a little weekend hiatus from the forum as it was a quite busy weekend. Got started on my yearly mulch project (better late than never) and have already laid down 33 bags. I estimate I've got about another 40 to go. Strongly considering buying it in bulk next year but will have to compare costs. Also got some mowing and weeding done, but the weeding project is never ending. I despise it. Lol. Played 9 on Saturday morning with my oldest and it was a very mixed bag. Couldn't hit a wood or hybrid to save my life, but irons were respectable, wedges were fantastic and putting was really solid. Ended up shooting a 51, which was better than what I was expecting. If only I could put it all together in the same round . Gotta get to the practice range a couple times hopefully this week and planning to play 9 on Friday before we head out of town for the Memorial Day weekend. I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend, sorry for bailing on you all, but I am back and refreshed! Also, I know some were complaining about the scoring at Valhalla and the course being too easy, but man, was it entertaining! Popular Post ejgaudette
Good morning all! Some beautiful weather yesterday and for the next couple days. Kids have loving getting out there to enjoy the day. My son has also gotten into building as we started building our raised garden beds. So every morning he is out there sawing wood, screwing things together. He made a few raised beds of his own and this morning came in with a piece of wood with some corner brackets around the bottom to make a coat hanger. Work keeps rolling along, though more budget updates are coming in which always makes things a bit more stressful. @Erin B good luck today for you and your wife, sending positive thoughts. Have a great Tuesday everyone! sirchunksalot, MattWillGolf, Cfhandyman and 16 others 19 Quote Epic Max LS 9° Ventus Blue 6X (2021 Official Review) | Epic Speed 18° Evenflow Riptide 70g 6.0 816 H1 21° Diamana S+ Blue 70 S | SMS 4-5/SMS Pro 6-PW Steelfiber i95 S (2023 Official Review) Glide 4.0 50°.12°S/54°.14°W/58°.6°T PING Z-Z115 Wedge Flex | SOFT 11S Super Stroke Mid-Slim 2.0 Hoofer Bag | Pro V1 | Right Handed | Tracked by V3
Popular Post MattWillGolf
Good morning Spies, Uppa with a cuppa. Summer appears to have arrived in CNY. We got into the upper 80s yesterday. SWMBO, the Environmental Control Officer, decided to turn on the A/C for first time this year to make sleeping more comfortable. I had a good testing session with Nemo my DF3 putter yesterday. I have a 10am tee time this morning. Sending prayers for @Erin B’s good lady for a wonderful outcome and a full and speedy recovery. Popular Post Shrek74
Good morning, Spies!! Happy 2nd Monday!! It's another beautiful morning here with the sun shining and temps in the low 60's. Gonna be a wonderful day. Nothing special to make mention of at this point. Rather quiet on the home-front at the moment. Not a bad thing, though. Just some house stuff to work on (cabinet pulls and ceiling fans). Well, everyone have a fantastic day!
