Work up a little late, but got work done and now get a chance to catch up on all things MGS over the last 12 hours or so. Lots of rounds in which is nice and hoping that the coffee hits strong this morning as well it is desperately needed!

GM & Happy Monday!!  Finishing up coffee & fruit and meeting the Boyz for 7:00am Tee Time.  Only 12 guys, group is shrinking mostly old age.   Going to be another hot & humid day in FL, rainy season off to a slow start.
Hoping to putt as well as I did Friday, course today is a tough one that I don’t usually play well not sure why.

Good morning on an I am posting earlier than Jason @sirchunksalot Monday in WNY, plenty of rain as I woke up and looks like it is hanging around with us most of the day on and off  hot coffee is just right on this zero commute day before the Federal holiday tomorrow putting in the time so others can be away and the job gets done for our Veterans.  6pm tee time that will probably be able to be started much earlier as most golfers around here will cancel in lieu of a better weather day for golf, hope golf is a part of your day

Good morning Spies on a zero commute work from home day for me in gray, and cloudy Michigan. EasyPutter appears to be having our weather from yesterday today. 

It is supposed to be cloudy all day with only a slight chance of rain as the system appears to be moving out, and I am hoping to get done and get 9 holes in later as my round scheduled for yesterday was rained and stormed out.

Hope those who have a long weekend, and those who don't all have the best day they possibly can.

Good morning spies! As @EasyPutter mentioned, I'm up a little later than normal even though I set my coffee pot to wake up when I usually do. Had to warm it up this morning, but that's the sacrifice we make to get some rest.

I could have gone to work today, I got a call from my supervisor yesterday while shopping at Aldi. I won't go into it, but it's a big mess there that might cause some changes at the top. I am getting ready for my annual eye exam today and since it's hard to get time off, I'm not rescheduling. Plus, I'm spending time with the wife today. 

We had some storms roll through yesterday and have more forecast for today. I might swing by the course and see if the range is open just to start preparing for the next challenge in the Cobra thread. I'm guessing it'll be closed, but you gotta have faith.

My employer was kind enough to give us today off, we just have to work Saturday to make up for it. 

Usually this would be our shutdown week, but due to equipment installation to increase production we were off the week of Memorial Day.

Up a little earlier than usual today but a sore  and tired body couldn’t sleep well. Double carried yesterday for a group at a local private club and I have mad respect for the guys that do this on a regular basis. This is just a summer gig for me as a school teacher so a hilly course with two bags in humid 90° weather really sapped me. Oh well, today is about loading up on fireworks, smoking a brisket overnight and getting in 48 hours of nothing before getting back on the course later this week. Hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday!

What's a weekend?!  .  I worked on a landing/steps project this past weekend.  Sweated off 5 lbs each day, gained some back but still down 3lbs since friday.

Three projects today.  Then squeezing in some work the  next few evenings to get a longer project done that i dont have an open day to do.  They wanted it done by next saturday in time for a party.

Good morning all! My wife and I took today off to extend the holiday weekend, so we are up at the lake one more day and night then will head home tomorrow. My usual Tuesday league is off this week since it falls on the 4th, so I’ll have to find a day to get a round in as I’ve got a big member/guest tournament with my uncle at my club this weekend. He hovers around a 5-7 index so is a much better player than I am. I am feeling some confidence going into it though after posting my two best scores to date back to back. Looking forward to finding out what this week’s Cobra challenge will be from @GolfSpy BOS, and my Cobra putter is FINALLY scheduled to arrive Wednesday this week. I am going to have to put some serious time in with it before the tournament this weekend so I feel comfortable enough with it to perform as good or better than my trusty Spider Tour Platinum.

Quick drop in to say hello and hope everyone is doing good. last time I looked at this thread was June 24th, that's a LOT of pages to get caught up on. Also a tone of tests and reviews to read thru. I might get some time while sitting on a ship in Alaska but we aren't doing the wifi package so not sure how that's going work.

Good morning all!

Back to the grind.  At least today is a WFH day and we're off tomorrow for the 4th.  I wasn't even thinking to add today to my vacation, but it should be a light day anyway, I imagine a few folks will be off.

Planning a quick 9 tomorrow morning before the heading over to @Lacassem's place with the family in what is sure to be an awesome and food filled cookout!

It was nice to be home and in my own bed.  All of the kids slept a about an hour or more later than they usually do.  I think we sufficiently tired them out down on the beach!

Took the girls on the ferry from Bayfield to Madeline Island yesterday. Here's our oldest cheesing it up for the camera 

No golf in the forecast until Wednesday, but I did put up my unboxing and first impressions on the MT86 OS thread. Check it out here:

My grandparents lived in Tyler, TX from 1978 until Grandpa passed in 2003. I spent all my summers done there as a kid. 
 

That weather is what Grandpa would refer to as the “nippy nineties”

Hope most of y'all have today off, and are enjoying the holiday! I drew the short straw at work, and will be "working" today. Expect it to be pretty slow with most everyone out of the office.
Dropped off my clubs at the local proshop to get regripped, so going to be putting only for the next few days. Thankfully, got some golf in before then and managed to play three times (executive 9 Friday, 18 Saturday, and par 3 yesterday).
Planning to smoke some ribs tomorrow for the fourth, so might get those prepped tonight.

Sorry about your Grandpa.  As one myself, it’s the best job in the world.  Happy to hear you spent a lot of time with your grandparents.  I cherish every minute with my grandsons.  They keep us young.  
 

The psychology of being in the high 90s vs low 100s is amazing.  It does make you feel like you can handle it better. BRRRRR. I think I’ll adopt your Grandfather’s phrase if I might plagiarize it.

Good morning all. Looks like no golf for me today, off and on rain all day with thunder storms this afternoon. I am one of the testers for the craftsman head covers and so far I love them, they are the best ones I have ever used. They look great and work perfectly. Everyone golfing today have fun and hit them straight. Everyone have a safe and fun filled 4th, and don't eat too much yeah right. It doesn't work for me.

Top of the pot spies . With summer temps upon us, we've adjusted our morning schedule so we can can River out for a walk/run before the heat starts building.  It was 78F when we left the house at 0545 and already 83F when we got back to the house at 0630.  One of our trails has a really large grass area that stays fairly shaded early, so that may become our go-to place. Labs love to run and with afternoon walks shelved until cooler weather returns, we're trying to make sure he gets some fun in for the day.

Fortunately, the forecast caused some cancellations (from our sane residents) and our 1107 tee time is now 0937 .  That should help a bit. I've posted B2B sub 80 rounds at Cimarron and hoping I can make it a hat trick.  Have a good day all.

That is a nice little trip to Madeline island. Did you drive around the island, it’s neat little roadie. 
 

If you are playing golf, I highly HIGHLY recommend Hidden Greens is Solon Springs. you will not be disappointed.
