Popular Post BallsLeon
Good morning Spies! Last day of halfway decent weather before 105° comes back . Walking the dog now, and then it’s coffee and work time. Heading to a concert tonight, Sylvan Esso, should be a lot of fun been a few years since I’ve been to a proper show. Plenty of golf planned for the rest of the weekend: 75% off PXG fitting Saturday morning, golf lesson Sunday, and then a round of 18 after. Sounds good to me! Hope everyone can get out and enjoy it! Popular Post Dead Solid Bogey
Good morning spies…. The continued heatwave might have been behind the strange, strange Thursday that I had on the course. My round was a blend of an episode of the “ Twilight Zone “ with a little of a “ Lewis & Clark Expedition “ added. Seemingly with every shot I hit, the golf ball scurried to find water or some kind of relief from the sun and heat. That relief came as well as hiding in water in the form of hiding under/ behind trees, in places that are not “ exactly “ on the course proper, and even in holes or crevices ( see below ). The only extremely bright spot in my round is that on every green with every first putt the ball made a valiant effort to get into the hole and out of the sun. Am intrigued by what today will bring. Enjoy your weekend and start it as soon as you can. ejgaudette, Rick Bouchard, Rickp and 10 others 12
Popular Post EasyPutter
Good morning MGSpies from an autumn teaser in summer WNY Friday with highs expected in the 60s, will be 80s by Sunday, this post delayed due to whatever was causing the Forum 504 Gateway timeout error. PGA HOPE session 1 of 6 at NFGC last night was also under heavy skies but nothing fell from the clouds, putting was the focus as it always is for session 1 so lots of good conversation centered on golf around the practice greens. Community Call did not work for the drive time so looking forward to next week. Today's tee time is 3:40 at my home course so a chance at a full 18 for 27 holes to consider for the VCT Weekly post. Tomorrow is a 9 hole round again at NFGC for the PGA HOPE Down Range day in the afternoon. Hope golf is a part of your day! Popular Post Swood1994
Good Morning Spies! Coming off a quick 9 last night with my cousin who just started getting into golf the last couple of years. He likes to have fun with the game and has a "no practice swings rule." He says that is how he evens the playing field. I obliged and we had a blast. I was able to get the Mizuno woods out in play for a little warm up session before they beg for their lives when I go to the driving range (hopefully today) . Working from home today with summer hours so long as no one calls/texts/emails/slacks me last minute. I am fueled up by a nice Kirkland brand light roast in my cup and the impending round I have scheduled for Sunday! I will leave you all with this from last night... If I'm working a Saturday, I'm getting 8 hours of OT. I made a swing with a golf club for the first time in several weeks yesterday. Played yesterday afternoon, and today I am planning on going to the Woodward Dream Cruise for a few hours. We have a usual spot to stay and view the cars from, but also spend a lot of time walking up and down Woodward about 1/2 mile in each direction, as the cars also park in displayts. Hope that your day is the best it can be, no matter what is in your plans. ejgaudette, Big moose, EasyPutter and 9 others 12 Quote Driver & Fairway: Titleist TSR3 10 degree - Ventus TR Blue & TSR3 15 - Hzrdus Black Gen 4 Hybrid: TSR2 21 degree - Hzrdus Black Gen 4 Irons: Titleist T200 3G (4) & T150 - (5-G) - Project X LZ Wedges: Vokey SM8 54, and 58 Putter: Cameron Phantom X 7.5 Ball: Pro V1 & Maxfli Tour Link to Motocaddy M7 w/Remote Trolley & Bag Review
Popular Post ParFore74x
Good morning and happy Saturday Spies! mid 60s at the moment with highs forecasted in the upper 90s. Daughter has a soccer tournament this weekend so no golf for me. Tournament is at a facility that is all artificial turf which means hot sun, hot field, and no trees for shade. Full brim hat, umbrella, and plenty of water will definitely be in order for me. Hope everyone has a great day!! Popular Post Swood1994
Good morning everyone! It’s a cool fall-esque day day with it in the low 60’s this morning. Enjoying my coffee while watching my 7 month old pull herself up on the couch. I think we are in trouble… ripping a stump out later this morning with a friend and his tractor. Then golf tomorrow with family that’s in town. I hope everyone on the course hits them long and straight today! Popular Post Tom the Golf Nut
Morning everyone, Today is get the crap together day. Moving my daughter back to college tomorrow. Pulling all the stuff out and staging in the garage. Load up the Cars in the evening then head out tomorrow morning. Amazing how much crap they need. Mini fridge, headboard with usb connection, totes for food storage, plastic storage drawer systems, full length mirror, 1000 pair of shoes, 5 bags of clothes, makeup mirrors, shower curtain, curtains. Matching bed spread. Two TV’s. I can go on. Then we go food shopping once we get her unpacked. Why do we have to spend $2000 on a meal plan if she eats her own food most of the time? My son was so much easier. Plastic bags full of clothes, bedding, small tv and x-box. But I will miss my new golf buddy. It was good to bond on the golf course together over the summer. I’m sure she will be home weekend’s though. She found a nice guy over the summer.
