Not sure I love the grip. May be putting a super stroke grip on there. Just a little too thin for my liking

First outing on the course with the AIT 2. I like the feel, slightly firm but responsive and the zebra lines seem to helped get aligned. They were not distracting which I was worried about. I was not as big of a fan of the small grip so put a super stroke on after the round!

Good luck on the testing.  Have you noticed a head weight/shaft weight issue with yours?  I have had a few instances where it seems the head weight and no counter weight in the shaft produces some high launching putts (hot putts)...

I personally haven’t experienced that yet. But after the testing period is over I am tempted to mess around with counterbalancing the putter.

For those Zebra testers and potential buyers who are using Shotscope, I just contacted support to have them add models AIT 2, 3 & 4.  AIT 1 is already a selection in 'My Bag'

Updated with my first impressions. Will add my first two round details and videos of the putter for sound ect in the next few days! Impressed with what I have seen so far. 33 putts in one of the rounds!

Glad to hear you're impressed with the putter as well. My AIT4 is continuing to perform well and it'll be interesting to see if the new weight kit eliminates even more strokes on the green.

Update:

Zebra was kind enough to send 20g weights for us testers to experiment with. I played 9 holes with the new weights yesterday and the stats were 2.3 putts per hole. Prior to this my putting average was 2.1 with the 15g weights after playing 63 holes with it. Not a huge difference and I believe it can be blamed on me for not having a chance to practice with the heavier head prior to playing. I will say I felt like the putter was even more stable so I see this number coming back down to my average and possibly improving. Ideally my average will be around 2 when this is all said and done.

July 22 Update:

Spoiler- 1st round with the 20g weight kit was SHAKY. A few more round updates and still encouraged with what I am seeing with the AIT 2. Another round on the docket tomorrow and Monday. Hope you get out to play today!

I have an old Zebra from the 70’s probably and still use it occasionally. I’d love to try a new one and see if it’s really an improvement.

Good reviews enjoyed learning the pros and cons of this iconic revived brand. I see both sides of the customization issue where many people want the customization that large OEMs offer which is a difficult task for a start-up where costs have to be monitored closely. One easy fix for Zebra sounds like they should offer uncut 36 or 37" & ungripped putters as an option at a reduced price to allow for more customization by buyers without incurring additional costs/inventory themselves.

That’s a good idea! Would solve the main concern I had with the putter.

I'm sure you dont mean it like a contest, but every time I hear winners thats what it makes me feel. Testers are selected and then must agree to the terms and conditions of doing a test. I know it may just be wording, but want to make sure that anyone who does read the posts know these aren't random draws or contests to be won, but hand picked selections for each test.

Agreed! I’ve had 2 rounds in a row now where I didn’t have a single 3 putt. Not a big deal if you’re a single digit handicap but for us higher handicappers that’s huge.
