LOL, nice self deprication there. Don't seek yourself short. You're sticking with it and not letting the off days drag you down. Enjoy it and keep at it and it will come together more often, and then when it is all flowing along for multiple rounds and you have great expectations, you'll be reminded by the Golf gods why g-o-l-f is a 4 letter word LOL. You'll do fine!

I’m going to take a slightly different tack in the recruitment of my team. To those who signed up but are concerned about not getting picked, simply quote this post and volunteer. I’ll take the first 3 that do so. Part of the fun of this challenge is getting to know our fellow forum members, so who I pair up with is less important to me than ensuring that everyone has a good time.

Seriously, as long as you keep the rounds to yourself until the week you need them (so there can be no "massaging" of the teams and competition), I think an exception can be made.  

The other consideration is.... It looks like Week 4 and 5 will be the playoff weeks...so there is no guarantee that you will be playing those weeks....  

You all know my mantra... inclusion, not exclusion  

The bigger question is...where are you going ?

And the trip I'm taking is to to Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania which is about an hour and a half drive for everyone going. 4 different golf courses and 2 nights in an airbnb on one of the courses for 7 people came out to about $425 per person The courses we are most likely gonna be playing are Glen Brook Golf Club, Split Rock Golf Club, Pocono Farms Golf and Country Club, and Pocono Manor.

  However, this also reminds me of the scene in "Three Amigos!" where they're talking about what they'll do with their share of the money, and the first one says he'll buy a yacht, and the next one says he'll buy a mansion and then Martin Short's character says he's going to donate all his money so that he can start an orphanage, and the other two quickly say, "well, yes, absolutely I'll ALSO start an orphanage, that first, THEN the boat." Lol - that's how I feel now.
