Can confirm. I thought for sure we'd be posting all weekend in Pinehurst but it was hard to slide off to the virtual world. Especially when I had to keep venturing off into the woods to find my golf ball.

I am not a big poster of photos, but you just get side tracked with the social aspects and stopping to take photos other than the first tee group shot photos.kind of seem intrusive. Or you have to have someone dedicated to taking pictures and they miss out on the social side because they are running around.

I guess for those that aren’t at the event, what do you want to see posted in the “live” thread?

If at any point you need a wifi signal, I'll be happy to turn my hotspot on and you can grab signal from me. I have an unlimited plan, so I don't mind sharing whenever you need, Jamie.

I'm kind of designating myself the group photo/video guy - not that I'm insisting on others not sharing, lol. I'm bringing a main camera with two lenses (one super-zoom so I can theoretically not have to be right up on people in order to get some good shots. I'm TEMPTED to rent a very long lens that would be perfect for capturing people on alternate tees and greens and stuff.

I'll also have a small video cam and drone, but that stuff won't get posted until well after the trip is over and I have time to edit it together.

All that being said, I'll do my best to post some stuff each night we're there of the day's round(s), and I'll try to get a bunch of stuff of the group hanging out and being dumb But nothing TOO incriminating, I promise.

Really, REALLY looking forward to this trip, y'all. (And I'm not even Southern)

I seriously considered bringing my gear, firing up Premier Pro and making montages of the weekend during the evenings. Knowing how last year went, that good intention would go down in flames as the good times start rolling with y'all. I'm going to stick with the phone again for this trip.

I believe the restaurant has an all-you-can-eat breakfast-balls program, yes. It's sausage, egg, pancake and, for some reason, shrimp, all run through a food processor, rolled into a "ball" and then deep-fried for 30 seconds (so the shrimp is ALMOST cooked).

Two Weeks From Today is arrival day at Kingsmill Resort. So what will officially be arrival day for the group--although several will have arrived in the area earlier in the week and playing some bonus rounds, this is where we will all be checking into on Thursday.

Actually it will likely be taken out next Thursday 7 day prior. I had told everyone 14 days when I thought we'd have to call in, that way it allowed a week for the "oh sorry I forgot crowd"

So keep an eye out on them for next Thursday!

As to the topic of pictures for the live thread. @cnosil covered it pretty well. A couple other things. The first priority of all attending should be to enjoy and soak in the experience as much as possible. Some can do that and tske and share pics. Some may not and that 100% fine. No pressure should be felt to have to take and post a lot of content.

also the area is pretty remote so cell coverage outside the condos will likely be spotty. So those that do post may be best served in the evening. But that gets consumed with a lot of socializing.

Big thanks ro @GolfSpy SAM for his plans to capture what he can. If you’ve seen his work. You know it’s phenomenal!

All the tee times have been filled and we won't be adding any more at this point.

However our last time on Saturday is 10:30 and the last time on Sunday is 9:30 if there is anyone out there that wants to get some guys together on their own and see if times behind those are available. Then of course welcome to join us whereever we are hanging out afterwards

No my bad there was a change. it's River on Friday, Plantation then Woods. So forget the time for Sunday, Woods is the private course and wont' take outside tee times. Our last time on Friday is 1:40 PM.

At least one other forum member @rkj427 is staying separately but playing at least one day. Not sure what @MDGolfHacker exact plans are but he'll also be there.

Both of them are booked in the extra tee times, as they aren't' staying in the package, they did book hotels in the area to be down there for the event.
