2024 Birdie Every Hole Challenge

Looked to celebrate today - I birdied #17 on our Cowan Creek course - which was the only hole on all three of our courses that evaded me last year.

But for me the spreadsheet to mark the holes completed has disappeared and a new format one has taken it place. Anyone else seeing a different spreadsheet or am I just special?

I'm getting the same spreadsheet you are. Looks like someone modified the sheet for their own needs and saved over the one that was there. Maybe the OP can restore the original one...

Shout to @Peaksy68, is there a way to go back to a previously saved version of the google sheet?  Someone has changed it, and lost the previous entries.

No idea, I just used the one from the original thread started a few years ago and added a new sheet for this year. I’ll ave a look when I’m on the PC next (can’t access it on the iPad)

Ok....  Now I am a little confused.  Is everyone(like me) waiting to see if we can recover the original one.  Or have people re-entered some of what we had before, and I'm just not seeing it.  I'd hate to see this be the end of this thread.....

Darn, its a shame the spreadsheet got reset. I only had a couple of birdies on it for this year, so its not a huge loss for me. Hopefully somebody can figure out how to get it back.

Sorry everyone, I have no way of restoring the spreadsheet. It's  probably easiest (although frustrating)to start fresh. Tried going into the spreadsheet from 2023 thread, but as expected it's linked to the same one.

So far pared all but one hole at my club this year and birdied 72% of the holes.  Starting Jan 2 in NC. I’m a slow starter so more birdied holes on the back 9 vs front.

Love this - have dropped in mine for the last round and will have to go back and check some others for 2024! My club do something a bit similar where your best score on a hole for a Saturday comp round counts towards a final scorecard. Unfortunately I don't get a huge amount of opportunities to play Saturday comp so like this to work on specific holes and seeing how I go.

Birdied 13 & 14 in my last 9 hole round on the back 9. That leaves 12 more to go for me!

I birdied number 4 with a chip in, 5 down 13 to go. I have played this course for 30 years and there are 3 holes I have never birdied.

OK, Guess we're just going to have to do it this way.  This is my status so far.  Doesn't appear as though we are going to be able to get the spreadsheet fixed.  I unfortunately am ABSOLUTELY OF NO USE, with EXCEL!

Birdie: 9, 18(11.1%)    Par: 1,2,4,5,7,13,15 (38.8%)

Erie Shores(4 Rounds)

Birdie: 9, 11 (11.1%)   Par: All except #8 (94.4%)

Ok, I've played 4 rounds so far this year. I'm doing a Par/Birdie challenge for the 90 holes I have here at my home community over this season. It's a big ask, but I'm going to do my best.

So far I have parred 15 holes and birdied 1. So that's 16 out of 90, for a 17.8% completed rate. I haven't even played 2 of the 5 courses yet, so I need to spread that out better going forward. Plus I'll need to play more than once a week. But it's a good start.

Birdied 16 yesterday that's 6 down 12 to go. Number 13 is a bear of a par 5 and I tell the guys I am playing with I will take a 6 and move on and they just laugh at me. I think I birdied that hole once. So needless to say I probably won't get that one.

I'm giving up on this one. Every time I go to the spreadsheet to add another birdie my name has been deleted.

I only have 3 more holes to go this year.  I just need to log a few more rounds. 

At our course, #'s 3 & 5 are both short par 4's but the greens are very undulating and require a very precise wedge. 

#10 is a mid length par 3, but the tee shot is awkward.  I'll get it at some point..

Eagled all of the par 5's and one of the Par 4's so far.

Don't give up, but you are correct the spreadsheet at this point is useless.  I tried posting on bugs and sight issues about the spreadsheet but haven't gotten any response as to the old one being replaced with a new one, that someone didn't mess with.  A few of us are in varying fashion still trying to report and encourage each other as I have posted above.    I just now quote section and change it as needed.
