Bought a Putt Out practice putting mat and Put Out Pressure Putting Device so that I could continue to practice putting at home during total knee replacement recovery.

Picked her up to day and can't wait to get her out on the course.

Before the G410 driver testing, I'd never gamed a Ping club before. I thought they were quirky and gimmicky. Well the G410 driver opened my eyes and mind to a fantastic brand. At my range demo day I hit every fairway wood on the market, including the Ping offerings, which I never would have hit before the driver testing. Low and behold, the G410 LST smoked the competition. The only thing that came close was the TaylorMade M5.

Just picked up a Sunfish Tartan driver/fairway headcover set. Been eyeing them for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger.

... I had to buy a SM5 58* M grind to play in Phoenix this winter. So many tight lies on basically hardpan and bunkers with little or no sand in them made the D grind useless. The M grind certainly has it's advantages but I miss my SM7 D grind and 12* of bounce that is very versatile in soft conditions or actual rough and of course bunkers that have sand in them. At least it was only $59 and it will go back in the basement til next winter.

I would question it being useless, before all this hi tech babble of 'grinds' the tour players (and everyone else)  did just fine, they adapted.

Grinds on the Tour have been a thing for decades. It's only recently that they've been marketed to consumers

fair point, certainly bounce has been around since the 30's and 40's. It's the 'speciality' grinds I was more referring to which really took off with computer aided design.

The wife got me a like new SC200 launch monitor for a Birthday/Fathers day gift.  Not sure how much I'll use it over the summer, but will get a lot of use over the winter months.

... As far back as I can remember there have always been high and low bounce wedges. It is the bounce that makes the D grind useless here. Phoenix has bunkers with high lips and virtually no sand at all. The only way to get it over the lip is open the face and the 12* bounces into the ball. I have played all over the country and have never seen bunkers like these, especially on nicer courses. They say winds blow all the sand out of the bunkers so they just don't replace it. Additionally some of these desert courses have hard pan around the greens and if you have enough green to work with you can put the ball back and lean the shaft for a chip, but it is gonna come in low and run.

Dang, someone just splurged! Congrats on your purchases

Thanks! At first I thought it was over-priced, and am not too keen on the continuing subscription model, but I'm lucky to have a few $$ to indulge in my hobby and .. via MPR's and others' posts .. saw the very real utility it can provide!

You're not wrong! I expect to see a different handicap other than Me! at the end of the year.

Ha ha.. I wish... But "me" will always be in my head, impeding .. "our" 😆 .. progress..!

You’ll love it. I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my short game after spending time on my skytrak.

Thanks! ..that's also one of my primary goals with it, working on wedge distances for varying shots.

Not me, but my son just grabbed these for my grandson.  $25 at a local thrift shop.  Driver, hybrid, 7, 9, SW and putter, along with the bag.  Thought it was a fantastic deal.

Right on! I wasn't going to put them on my driver and FW, but decided I'd rather have consistency across my set. I'll just have them installed big logo down so my OCD doesn't go crazy 😜

I have a real sickness where I can’t pass up beautiful old clubs. Just picked up this complete matching set of 1961 Wilson Dyna-Powered’s. All original including the original leather grips.
