Finally got a chance to go to the pga super store down here at the beach and found a used tsr2 21 degree 7 wood that looks brand new. Hit it well in the bay so it went home with me.

So I did a thing the other week that finally arrived today.

Maltby MomentX Tour putter.
True Temper Steel shaft, black.
SuperStroke Pistol 2.0 grip
2.5" slant neck, light toe hang (probably 15'ish defrees).

Golfworks included the counterweight kit free of charge. Excited to give this a go on some green.

Nice! I've been keeping tabs on local stores, FB and ebay for a TSR2 7W with x-stiff shaft at the right price to go with my TSR2 3W. But current focus is dialing in driver setup.

I've been using my old PXG driver head cover on my current Cobra driver. The PXG head cover is significantly better quality than the Cobra LTDx head cover it came with and the PXG has a magnet on the end to secure it to the cart/pushcart/iron when I'm using it. The PXG head cover color way also matches my bag better. 

No complaints from the Cobra yet!

We shall find out tomorrow, when I put everything into play. Lucky it's a scramble so my partner can carry us if the golf gods take issue with me.

Picked up a set of used MP18 MMC's for a bargain, so will probably put them in play next week and retire the aging set of JPX Tours. Fli Hi 4 and 5 iron was a bonus too, so may also look into switching out one of the hybrids.

Good thinking to use a scramble to ease everything into it!  Is it going to be the first round with the irons too?

Just purchased an Alta CB slate 55 for my ping 425G Max driver. Currently have an Accra FX 270 m4 in there and want to try to see if there’s a feel difference. Can always resell it

Orange Whip also makes a wedge. Could not tell you what the differences are vs Lag Shot, tho?

I was in the market for a new shaft. Ended up getting fitted a 2 shops and both said the head I have is no good for me. Got fitted into a Callaway Ai smoke. Sounds amazing and I’m hitting it better than I’ve hit a driver before.

Dozen Callaway Chrome Tour X balls. Drives are 20-30yrds further. They are amazing. Previous ball proV1x. Also tried a sleeve of just the Chrome tour for par threes. Amazing feel and spin. Driver Swing speed around 105-110mph.

Well there's money on this one. 2v2 scramble every spring and summer, best of 5 rounds. So need to come out the gate strong. 

No irons and wedges were put into the bag last may when they came out. Only driver and 2 hybrids, all of which are just upgrades over previous models. Bag is set and probably not going to change for a while. We'll until one of my reps gives me something too good to pass up.

I was dumb and forgot to do the Bridgestone mindset sampling survey before it closed so I picked up some BX when I was at Golf Galaxy the other day. I’ve always like Bridgestone balls so I’m excited to see how these do

Wife asked me to ride along for errands this morning and one of those stops was to Kohls. Saw these Adidas hats on a sale table where they were marked down from $28 to $16.80 so I grabbed them since I don’t have a navy blue hat. Went to the register and they rang up for $8.40 each. Bonus!!

LoL I did the same thing. I played Bridgestone balls for my first couple of years of playing. They make a great ball. If I could get them cheaper I would probably still be playing them.

I’ve found that using lost golf balls or found golf balls you can get them for a pretty good deal and the 4A is usually pretty solid quality

I play the vice in the drip version, I really have always liked the different style golf ball.  I have played different colors....yellow, orange and even pink.  I have played several colors of the Truvis and Pix.  Also played the Taylormade Tour Response Stripe.

Was in Seattle this week at a conference, got to play Chambers Bay Wednesday, shot an 83, but also went by a local golf shop on their free fitting/demo day by chance. Got fit for my wedges and ended up coming away with a nee gap wedge. We went with the CBX 4 zipcore 50° gap. Was fit into the vokey's and loved the 54 and 58 but my guy Vincent and I got to talkn and since I almost never use my gap wedge for anything but a full shot we started playing with something more forgiving. One of the weak spots in my game is 120 to 95 approach. With the CBX I was getting a a lot more forgiveness and consistency and actually the spin numbers were perfect. With the Vokey 50° and RTX 6 50° I was over spinning it and the height was too high, which makes sense because I have trouble controlling my height on my full wedge shots. My angle of attack gets steeper with my wedges, so going
with something more forgiving to put between my ZX7 PW and the 54°. I'll get the Vokey for the 54 58 later to spread out the spending. I found that getting out of the wedge shafts helped with consistency so I'll be putting the modus 105 to match the rest of my irons.
