Actually that's incorrect. I just tried mounting my iPhone 6 and it fits perfectly.

Well I tried it today - the data is really cool - but them I'm a tech junkie. Now the big question is what do I do with the data.

FYI if Ping is listening a really nice feature would be the ability to download to a spreadsheet so I could track improvement on stuff like tempo.

I assume this can work without a ping putter? lol I have the app, but no cradle and was thinking about picking one up

I would assume so - don't think the app knows what putter its on

I didn't know if it was smart enough to know a swing path of Ping putters and can't calibrate with the weight and swing path of a spider or something.

Yeah I don't think it matters what kind of putter its on - but then I'm not a professional fitter or instructor. It measures stuff like: closing angle, impact angle, tempo - back and forward, lie angle, shaft lean, etc.

FYI if your a lefty - which I am, don't forget to change orientation in the upper right just below battery %

The ah ha moment for me was the in the 'putter recommendation' it said I have a strong arc. I go to great pains to place a prominent line on my ball, then line it up with my putter thinking if those are spot on the ball will go straight (given a level green). So now I know what to work on with my putter
