Good morning everyone! Another beautiful day today. Getting ready for an 8:10 tee time at my favorite course. Got it and later twilight golf with the wife last night. I was +3 through 4 holes and was not feeling it. Turned it around and shot +5 for the round. Hoping to take the little momentum and put it into the round this morning. Excited to take advantage of another beautiful day!

Good morning fellow spies! Getting ready to head to Milwaukee for two days for part of our vacation week. Heading to the Milwaukee County Zoo today, then staying at a hotel with a waterpark tonight and tomorrow night. Taking the boys to an interactive children’s museum tomorrow followed by mini-bowling (they are obsessed with bowling). They know none of what we are doing so it should make for some fun reactions!

Here.. thinking about a few small home projects and a little practice time .. especially chipping and putting. Who doesn't need more short game practice, right?

Nice Central Florida morning, 79 degrees already! No golf this morning due to continuing education class, 4 hrs! But I get to work from home! No rain scheduled for today, finally get back yard mowed!

Goooood morning all you MGS's out there.  I'm hoping you all had a better late night/early morning than I did.  Tuesdays are early morning golf days for me.  Late last night, my beagle Scout wanted to go out.  As we got out the door, it just started to rain.  Scout doesn't like the rain and promptly turned around to head back in.  Between the slightly wet steps, me twisting and Scout pulling, I fell, and face planted on my front steps onto our concrete porch!  Sort of stunned, I looked down and there was some blood.   I got inside, looked into the mirror and this is what I saw:

Luckily, I didn't have my glasses on as it would have been worse!  I spent the next two hours with ice on my face.  This morning, no golf and off to urgent care to make sure there was nothing more serious.   Again, luckily the cat scan showed no acute damage and only the remnants of past nose injuries.  That included a bunch of years of basketball elbows and being hit directly on the bridge of my nose with a golf ball.   The urgent care nurse practitioner cleaned out a few pieces of embedded gravel, cleaned it up and bandaged me up.  

Hey, the rest of the day has to be on the upswing after that right?   When we got home from urgent care the microwave was beeping saying we needed service.  Great!  Off to YouTube to see if there's an easy fit.

My only hope is that the fall knocked some golf sense into me and I play better come Thursday!

WOW!  Looks like you were lucky with outcome. But man it must have hurt!  Good luck with the microwave and heal fast!

Dog walk done. First cup down one to go. Played 9 yesterday. I was ready to quit the game for good on the 5th hole. Then proceeded to play much better the rest of the way in. So to steal from Luke Combs. “I hate golf. I quit golf. I can’t wait to play tomorrow.”

Good Morning everyone!!  Hope you are having a great start to your day!

I took my new 60º wedge out yesterday morning to another course and it worked as well as my old one so I'm happy about that.  Putted for awhile on quick greens with lots of slope; not used to that.  Since it was a cool day compared to the last several days, I decided to play their course.  Got paired with a couple from Colorado and an old guy that is a regular; he could pipe it down the middle with a draw, and he knew the greens like the back of his hand.  For me it was just a fun round to get some on course work with my wedge.  I did hit a nice 7i on a par 3 to tap-in range.

No golf today... wife is playing in a member-guest at the course I played yesterday.  Hope the pins are in lot friendlier positions for her!!

No golf today. Making thex3 1/2 hour drive to Pittsburgh to watch the Pirates game.  Then dinner and hotel.  Headed back home sometime tomorrow.   Looks like a great day for baseball or golf!

another gorgeous summer day in Southern Vancouver Island. 

Busy day today, a visit to physio to work on my back and neck, it is amazing how much torque is on my neck in my golf swing. My physio does a great job so looking forward to that.

Then heading to the cellular store as my carrier, Shaw Mobile, has been bought by Rogers mobile, and I need to change my phone over. Because I'm electronically challenged I need to actually go to someone that knows how to change it over lol.

Then to the range to work on a thing or two...

Good morning all! I am spending my morning getting ahead on some work before vacation next week and hydrating before a walking round this afternoon in the Oklahoma heat. This week is shaping up to be a lot of fun with some plans with friends and a whole lot of golf at the club! Yesterday I hit 3 of my 4 longest ever drives (358, 370, 377) so I am itching to get back on the course and replicate that speed! The added distance led to me FINALLY getting a birdie on a tough par 4 that I often bogey. I had 110 into the pin yesterday and hit a 52*, where not long ago I was hitting 6 iron into that green. Have a day!

Yikes! and double Yikes!! The hot as Hades heat continues in South Texas.. So hot that some of the  alligators are on the move. . Had an unfortunate deadly auto an alligator accident the other day. Slightly worried that some of these long tailed, large sized gators may start squatting in the water hazards.  ( Unfortunately, one of my more consistent landing areas )… Be safe, be watchful, stay hydrated.

Gators on course brings a whole new meaning to water hazard!!

We had some storms roll through last night and have more on the way today, but I've got the community call to look forward to. I think having Indi wedges on the call should be fun and interesting.

As far as I can tell, I can’t watch/stream The Open in Denmark, but I can listen to them online. I’ve done this before. It’s actually a treat especially on the last day and not unlike listening to a baseball game.

Good morning everyone, best mornings of the year waking up to the Open with players already more than halfway through the round for some of the early starters. Thursday date day today and I think the wife is going to walk with my while I play nine which should be fun, a man can dream to get her interested in playing herself. At the office before 6 am, Human Bean coffee and breakfast sandwich in hand, and The Open on the tv in the background.  For an early start, it could be a lot worse!

Good morning Spies on this partly cloudy, warmer and humid Michigan morning. Hoping that this is my last day in the work facility this week, but I have a lot to do to be certain to make that happen.

Storms suppposed to roll through later today, and then the weather is supposed to be sunny and a little cooler following.

I will be checking the Open Championship scores as time permits, but won't be able to watch it until the weekend.

Looking forward to the forum call later today. Make your day the best it can be.

Good morning MGSpies from summer is in full control WNY for this Thursday  hot coffee still too hot to sip = smells great on this no-commute day of work from home central with the desk arrangement turned enough to keep whomever is lurking in the background visible in periphery to avoid yesterday's surprise (the adrenaline rush shock took hours to subside).  Today will be my first full miss for the Community Call with tee time at 3:56pm, trade-off for sure, going to miss seeing everyone this week  hope golf is a part of everyone's day!

Good morning spies! Off to see my grandma this morning. Staying with her for the next couple of days which means no golf for that time. However, I will be watching The Open this weekend. Pretty low key the next two days but some time to relax and get work done.

Morning all,

A nice cool brisk morning today. Starting off at 60*, high of 84*. No time to make coffee this morning, so I’ll have to stop at Tim Hortons (a must when you’re up this way) on my drive.

Been looking forward to today - got a golf outing for work (best ball scramble) at Wildwood CC in Rush, NY. I’ll be checking up on the Open standings in between holes. Hope that you all have a great day today!
