Good morning everyone. Slow day for a change and my plans include brewing beer. It’s been awhile since I’ve fired up the system and I’m eager to get a few new beers on tap. Hope all goes well today, @Wheelieb. And I hope everyone has a great start to their weekend.

@Wheelieb, very best of luck with that meeting! I'm curious to hear how it goes. I'm adopted and my wife has been after me for years to seek out my biological parents, which I have not done. I'm curious, and obviously, don't answer if it's too personal, but, did you seek or did your biological Dad seek you out?

Good morning Guys. Today is concrete day to finish up that honeydew list. It is going to be super hot but I will get it done.

Last night in leagues I had my first hole  1. I didn't even hit the shot as pure as I wanted but it was still strait at the pin. It hit a few yards short of the green and bounced up on taking a direct line strait at the pin. My one teammate said holy $hit it has a chance. We were all watching it and I seen it drop it. My one teammate said it went in! The other guys had trouble seeing it at that distance. 

One of the other groups heard us yell and went over and looked in the hole and sure enough it was in. It is still hard to believe.

Forgot something... my next door (I mean right next door, we share a driveway) pulled up in this last night.
He bought it on a whim in Detroit and drove it back home... wife's first question: "are you going to remove the graphics?"

Good morning, Spies and TGIFF!!!!

Another beautiful morning, especially being Friday. Although I have upgrades tonight and tomorrow evening, I'm hoping to translate that into a half day next Friday.

Going to try and build my new net tomorrow so I can get going on practicing in the garage and look to find an online coach on Skillest or Swingtweaks. That's been a big one sitting in my personal inbox for a while, so it's time to get on my ass and get it done. Plus I really need to get to the granite store and get the remnants picked and ordered for my laundry room, as that's been sitting in my inbox almost as long.

Anyway, everyone have a fantastic day!!

Good Morning everyone!!  Have a great Friday.  Mowing the lawn then taking my car in for an oil change and tire rotation; no golf today or tomorrow… our club has a 3 day tournament going on. High today will be 96º and 100º tomorrow, but cools off to the 80’s next week.

The Tl;Dr version is this. I did the ancestry dna kit in 2016. My brother also did his a year or so later. Didn’t really look much into it. 2022 came and got an email notification I had a new match on there. Never opened up those emails until then. It was my brother but it said half sibling. Found I had a complete different dad. Reached out to people on that side through there and through investigation on Facebook. Led me to now. Better write up if you want to read it is in the good evening thread on Wednesday.

Good Friday morning All!

Not much going on here except the summer heat is on with a vengeance! Temps in the upper 90's to low 100's and heat indexes into the 110's range. Going to be a brutal weekend... Thoughts and prayers for those dealing with the flooding to our South.

Hope y'all have a great first weekend of summer planned and it includes a round or two on your favorite course.

Morning spies, just got done cleaning my PXGs and was ecstatic to see my 8 iron had a ball mark only in the center of the club.. Getting more consistent everyday.. Ordered a new shaft for my 5 wood and my 9 year old decided if she's going to be shooting under par she needed a 3 wood .. We found her a nice youth Nike 3 wood on ebay so now she's ready!

Morning all! Slow morning here, just getting around to coffee after a morning walk with the baby in his stroller. 
Had an awesome experience in my Callaway fitting yesterday and really liked the Paradym Smoke AI irons a lot. I think I’m going to try the Sub 70 699 pro v2 before deciding but really excited about what I saw yesterday on the range.

Good morning spies! Hot again today for the Wild Bunch, but with some humidity (maybe 20%, but that is a lot for here) from the storms coming up the gulf coast of Mexico and Texas.  Was hazy yesterday on my ride (40 miles) and bloody hot. 108 when I got home. Not to let the heat get to me I refilled my water bottles and headed to the course to play 9 holes. My legs gave out after 7 and I came home. I saw another lady out there on the back nine. Normally it's just me and the occasional coyote  out there on the hot afternoons. Shoot the club house closes at 2. 

@Wheelieb My wife and I met her daughter some years ago in the same setting. It was awkward for me as I had no part in the equation. The two of them still keep in touch. 

@Bad Golfer That is so cool! I clipped the stick and the ball settled 3 inches left of the hole last week, but have yet to claim my first ace. Congrats.
