Good morning! Still moving slowly this morning because last night I went to a Cleveland Guardians game in Cleveland and didn't get back to my house until the early hours of the morning. The game was awesome and the Guardians won 5-4! 

Today there's no golf on the agenda, but hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in some putting practice on the Exputt throughout the day's work meetings.

Then this evening is running the kids around to their parkour and gymnastics practices.

Busy week in the Frederick household - wife just left for her annual girls hiking trip (Colorado this time) so I'm solo parenting this weekend (please pray for me ).  Got a bit of bad news earlier in the week - rejected for Masters tickets AND lottery for the Old Course for my trip next March, but I have a back-up plan there so things could be looking up.

Good morning Spies on a cool and cloudy Wisconsin morning.

Supposed to clear up and be sunny and high 70's this afternoon when I have a tee time at Reedsburg Country Club, home course of @GolfSpy_KFT.

He may join us for some or all of the round, depending upon his schedule.

Rained again last night, but that is typical Mid-West summer weather.

Hope that all have something fun or enjoyable in their plans for today, and make their days the best that they can be.

Good morning Spies! Sitting at the airport headed for STL. Looks like the appointment I spent yesterday trying to ramrod through is actually happening, so I'm glad my efforts weren't wasted. Only one night in the burbs, flying home tomorrow. That site wraps up its participation in this study tomorrow so it should be my last trip there. Taking my bands to get in a FFG workout tonight.

@skraeling I land at 2:14 pm at STL, should be in the hotel by 4.

Looks like a benign day weather wise in Revelstoke today, so far anyway, I have a 2 pm tee off time so will be at the course at 1230 to warm up, chip and putt a bit and get into the zone, I will see what day 2 brings...

Thx, and yeah - the whole place has been under continual reconstruction literally since I was a kid! But I do have to admit that the current version .. actually almost completed .. is sooooo much better.

Cooler but very humid day in store, but no rain in the forecast. Have a mid-morning round with my neighbor and curious to see if my putting continues its improved state after last week's round.

Morning All,

After waking up about 5 this morning feeling like I laid in bed straight out of the shower, I feel loads better. Still have a sore throat due to the nasal drip down the back of my throat that is causing me to cough every now and then. I had a a low fever of 100 yesterday afternoon and was told not to come in to work today. I needed the rest I guess. No golf today or tomorrow, or really until maybe the weekend. We will see if I test positive for Covid on Thursday evening or Friday morning. Probably try Friday morning, I’ve got no scientific data as to why. Got yelled at by trespassers fishing off our dock when I told them they needed to kick rocks. I assume the clear “No Trespassing” sign on our dock is only meant for people who can read. With the excitement done yesterday and just feeling like I needed sleep, I went back and laid down for the day. All 3 pups were by me the whole day. Almost like they were trying to tell me sleeping all day is the life. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. Anyway, hope everyone has a great day.

But, I will get in a round in the heat. Accuweather says it will be 113 today with blowing dust. My plan is to work the course like I did on Monday, fairways and greens.  3 of my 4 bogies were second shots that landed off the green. I had no 3 putts. This tells me I need to hit the green in regulation to score well. 

I have the Arccos system but it is just crap if you don't start from hole one, so I do not have actual strokes gained info. I may look into the shotscope and see how that works.

Good morning spies,

Uppa with a cuppa. Greetings from Goat Hill Park. Walking 9 this morning. Such a relaxed environment for golf. Was put in a group with high school kids for my last round. Saw a dog following the groundskeeper around. Disc golf is also on the course. Very laid back with a just have fun vibe. Highly recommended. The greens were rolling really nice. Lots of ravines on course.

Good morning everyone. League night tonight and going to try to get in another VCT round by playing early. Will be hard to better my score from yesterday but gotta try. Now I’m off to do some birthday shopping for one of my kids. Looks like a PS5 purchase is in the works. Wish me luck. Speaking of birthdays, happy b-day @Byrnzee!!

Seems odd that you can’t add shots into a hole that didn’t get recorded. Especially for the $100 annual fee. You can add info to holes not recorded on Shot Scope. I’ve done it a few times.

Rough evening last night, was 108 and our power went out for a couple hours.  Luckily it came back on quicker than the expected time they told me which was 2:45am.  Would have had to get a room somewhere or something

After a middling year so far in the golf game, I now have a lesson scheduled for Friday. In other golf related news I have begun to reach out for sponsors for my golf Outing in November and have been given the opportunity to help JAG golf grow into the American market! Good morning, y’all.

Cool and cloudy here in the middle-of-the-Mitten.  Sitting outside, feeling sorry for myself.  Played golf with a friend last Friday (we shared a cart) and that night he sends an email saying he has tested positive for Covid.  Monday night I test positive as well.  After managing to stay safe for 4+ years and then to get bit while playing golf . . .

Monday night and Tuesday were not fun with intermittent fever and chills but I think the fever broke last night and today is mostly just like having a bad head cold.  Still several days away from hitting balls again and few more after that from rejoining my regular group.

Okay, wallowing done.

The back yard is alive this morning and She Who Must Hunt is after almost everything that moves — rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, blue jays.  Only the robins and sparrows seem to have her permission to forage in the yard.

Had a collar so was unable to take part in the cat distribution system this time.  No collar?  Might have been going home with me haha

I fractured a rib 28 days ago, the first ten days were terrible.  Played a great 9 holes this morning at first light and then worked out and jogged!  I’m back!  Summer is back on!

That was fun. On approach to Charlotte, felt like we dropped the last 15 feet to the runway WHAM. Pilot went full throttle immediately and we lifted off right away. My dad is a pilot and I know that what we just did is called a touch and go, but I've never had a T&G in 45 years of flying commercially. Circled for 15 minutes and finally landed, not that it was a whole lot smoother the second time. Which damn near made me miss the flight to STL, but I got there as Group 9 was boarding. Hoping for no further travel adventures today.

Good afternoon spies on what has been a SUPER busy day so far at work. Got in around 5:30 for employee biometric screenings and ran those straight through until 11:00am, taking blood pressures, height/weight/waist circumference for every scheduled person. Same thing again tomorrow. Ran really smoothly, so it wasn't bad at all and time goes by quickly, just a lot happening. My schedule unfortunately isn't going to allow me to meet up with @rkj427 at my home course. Bummer since he's so close, but it's a beautiful day for golf and I think he will enjoy it!

Also, of most important note, it is my wife's birthday today. We don't have big celebration plans for tonight, but are going out to dinner with some friends on Friday evening and then have all week off next week to do fun things with the boys. Still hoping to make her a nice dinner tonight, but the boys have swimming lessons from 6-7 so it'll make it a bit tricky.

Had a cool experience at Goat Hill Park. I met Chris Trott the OG Onion Master from TaylorMade Golf. A really cool and gracious dude. Asked me what I was working on with my game. I had great time walking 9 holes. It was a very hilly walk. I’m used to the flat terrain at my home course. Definitely glad I started running last year.

Oh you can add shots and take them away in the app. But, it is a fiddly process that can and does upset the round and the way the app moves from hole to hole. I found it easier to ignore missed shots and try to add them in later. Sometimes that works.

Agreed. It really isn't that hard to make adjustments after the fact through the website. I hate doing it but it really isn't that difficult.
