I'll add some more of Darwin. These pit bulls really are something else...he's a lover pup, the absolute kindest and sweetest soul. He's great with our 5 month old daughter and I'd love to share but there's this apprehension I have about posting photos of my daughter on the internet :)

Couldn't get a pic of it, but... Cruising along on a bicycle, in front of a line of cars and on a very busy street, was an older .. not so slim ;) .. lady with a basket on the handlebars. Unremarkable until I looked further: it was a flattish, padded basket and perched upon it was a toy Pomeranian! Looking quite comfy and quite pleased with world and his place in it :)

Chief is definitely one fine looking dog.   When I was in junior high school, my brother and I had a German Shepard that looked a lot like Chief.  A neighbor was a Virginia State Trooper and at the time, they raised their own dogs.  At some point they give the dogs I guess what could be called a personality test to see if they could be police dogs.   Our dog apparently failed the test and the neighbor asked if we would like a dog.   While it looked like an attack dog, it was the most gentle and friendly dog we ever had.

GSD are in my opinion, the best dogs one can have. They are intimidating to those who are not familiar with them but are one fo the most loyal breeds to their own pack. All they want to do is protect and love their own. Its great!
