A special thanks to Forum members

I noticed this morning that it was four years today that I joined MGS. I didn’t keep my old stats, but I’ll bet I was struggling to break 100 at the time and only had a cursory knowledge of equipment and the game. Thanks to the advice of many of you, and the knowledge I picked up from your posts, I routinely break 90 and have a target of breaking 80 (hopefully this year). Not too bad for a guy that took up golf in retirement.

Being on the MGS Forum and Blog is like an advanced degree in golf knowledge. I know more about equipment, rules and course management, then I could have learned anywhere else, not to mention meeting some great people. However, still a lot more to learn and birdies to make.

Thanks Guys and Gals.

Well, Happy MGS Anniversary!!  That's quite an accomplishment.  Many people struggle a lot longer than that to get to bogey golf.  It all depends on their commitment to the game.  You have also positively committed to the MGS Forum which obviously helped you and in addition, made us a better place.  Congratulations!!  Here's to 4 more years!!  🍻     I know you will get to sub-80!!

We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

I hit 9 years back on the 17th. I started getting involved about 5 years ago when I started doing most wanted testing. The forum has really taken off over the past few years.

Congratulations on hitting your four year anniversary here on the forums! It has been a pleasure getting to know you in the almost three years I've been a member and you're one of the people that made me feel welcome from the start.

Here's to many more years for you and to hoping this will be the year you break 80.
