I have a fitting scheduled for the Dark Speed driver in a few weeks. Odds are strongly in favor of coming home with a new driver.

After trying out the Odyssey AI One today, I think the Cleveland HB Soft is shaking because it has not made it past the 90 day trade in window from Dick's...

3w, Paradym TD, is more or less settled, though there could be a change of shaft 

3h, G430,  is a stone cold lock to stay in the bag

4-GW, despite the periodic round with my Apex MB’s, the T series are pretty secure in the bag.

Putter: The LAB Mezz1.Max will only be supplanted by a DF3.0

Which leaves the 54 & 58 wedges. They are nearing the 75 round mark and I have a line on Ping Glide Forged Pro’s at a ridiculous price, so we will see

Most of the staff now game a L.A.B. - he's doing his best to stand up to our peer pressure, but that 3.0 is fire.  It doesn't help that he keeps building mock-ups

I love the Scotty, I do....but when @GolfSpy SAM brings up the DF3 every other conversation, it begins to become hard to ignore 

Seems as though there aren't many things that go better together than the MGS Forum and L.A.B. putters....it's like peanut butter and jelly

My Srixon irons are safe but everything else is up for grabs. Everyone's putter is only 1 bad round from a stint on the sidelines.

I can attest to the Ai-ONE…it is an awesome putter.  I know the broomsticks have a lot of love on the forum, but they are not my thing…

The Ai has improved my putting so far this year!

I spent a solid amount of time in Dick's today and all I did was use the AI One. Time just flew by as I was sinking putts in there ( I can count on 5 fingers how many were missed). If it had been the DB Rossi, we would be talking in a different topic

Nothing is EVER “safe” in my bag!  That being said, I don’t plan on changing or adding any clubs, or my golf ball (Maxfli Tour X CG), but you just never really know with me.

I’m interested in trying the Maxfli. I’m between balls right now but have a lot of OnCore balls to lose. Sounds like the Maxfli is working for you.

Which OnCore model do you use?  I have been an OnCore player for more than 6 years (I first discovered them and their golf balls the first year that they exhibited at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando). Being from Buffalo, NY, I was immediately drawn to this golf ball company with their unique golf balls and they were located in my home town of Buffalo!  I joined "Team OnCoreamd have been fortunate to try every ball model that hey have introduced. The VeroX1 is my favorite ball in the OnCore lineup, and the newest ELIXR model is great during the cold winter months, when I want I little lower compression in my golf ball.

I guess that you could say that after the Maxfli balls, OnCore (or, at least their VeroX1 and 2022 ELIXR) are my second choice in golf balls.

FYI (if you didn't already know this), the Maxfli TourX, with its 102 compression, is one of the firmest-feeling golf balls on the market .... right up there with the ProV1 Left Dash ball.

Oh I’m trying to completely reset the bag. I still have my first set and while I’ve improved over the years and changed, I haven’t changed what I’m hitting. My shafts are all over the place some stiff some regular. Idk what I’ll do. I need a fitting but at my work we only have Taylormade and Srixon. I’d like to see everything

I can say my Scotty Cameron got chopped, replaced with you guessed it… The Odssey AI#1 CH!

I recently got an Accra driver shaft to test out so that could change. And early results has me thinking about the e 5 wood shaft as well. The Srixon Diamond ball might have something to worry about with some of the new releases as well. The only other thing could be putter. I am pretty sure is more mental than the putter itself, but add that with the intrigue of the Lab putters and can’t guarantee anything.

I use both Vero Xs depending on how I am playing. I first tried the X1 three years ago. I've actually talked to OnCore many times, and am a club OnCore member. I have an OnCore bag that my son's wife uses. I have quite a few balls from them, but last year I just didn't had the same performance with OnCore so I went back to Titleist Pro V1/1Xs and had better performance. I don't know if there was a quality issue or not, but one time last year I ordered two dozen balls and there was a couple pinnacle balls and a Titleist ball in a sleeve. I called them and they sent me two dozen new balls right away. They were very concerned and made it right. I have some of their veteran hope balls and am going to use them this year, but I also have a couple dozen Pro V1s if the OnCore balls continue not to perform like I am used to. I hope they perform because they are brand new balls. I don't know, maybe I just had bad luck last year. I like their customer service which is a big deal to me.

I last posted in this thread in late December. What’s changed since then? Well aside from trying all the new drivers and a few putters, along with testing the new Callaway balls and some recently acquired from Taylormade… ha ha. 
No purchases yet. Yet!

Imminent purchase: Taylormade MG4 60* LBV grind (7* bounce). I’ll keep the MG2 TW 60* a while but want/ need a proper low bounce and low at address wedge  

High risk of replacement: putter. The new AI One mallets have my attention. I also tried a center shaft Mizuno OMOI and really liked how it felt and rolled. Dont like the look of a center shaft putter but it played really nice. Putter fitting likely. 

Medium risk: 7-wood. 3W shaft.

Low-Med Risk: driver head. Really like the feel and consistency of the AI smoke triple diamond I’ve tried at our sim place. I can’t afford it right now but who knows about the rest of the year. I’d need to scratch the Ping itch and try the G430 range in a fitting too before splashing out on a driver. my Rogue LS is going well right now. 
 

The rest is safe - barring coming into a ton of cash. LMAO

I don't know if I've known anyone to get more excited about new equipment more than Jason. 

His excitement on contagious and refreshing - I often feel like a curmudgeon because I've seen so many releases and while fun, it is also a lot of work haha

All this to say no, nothing truly about Jason's bag is safe imo haha

My Vokey wedges may be on the chopping block. My buddy might be able to get me a good deal on some MG4s, which would definitely be an upgrade over my worn gamers. We'll see what happens!
